Story
Sally is a six-month-old black Lab mix with the boundless energy of a spring-loaded slinky and the heart of a professional snuggler. She’s a pro at turning any moment into playtime—especially if there’s a ball involved. Her favorite hobby is playing catch, and she approaches each throw with Olympic-level enthusiasm, ears flapping, paws skittering, and tail wagging like a metronome set to “joy.”Of course, she’s still a puppy, which means she’s got a few things to learn—like how not to treat a leash as a competitive tug-of-war event. But what she lacks in leash manners, she more than makes up for in sweetness and smarts. Sally is the kind of dog who makes every day lighter, brighter, and a whole lot more fun.ADOPTION PACKAGEThank you for your interest in adopting your next pet from The Haven. Story
Enzo is a very sweet dog that was found roaming. He is nervous and cautious in new situations, but once he gets to know you and his surroundings he is very playful. The vet believes Enzo was hit by a car and his leg healed on it's own but he has a slight limp. His eye on the same side has limited vision due to the eye being rotated inward. It does not cause him any discomfort but he cannot see much from that side. Over the course of a month we were able to slowly introduce him to our own dogs. I took him to the dog park once but he was very fearful- I think any introductions to new dogs (or other people or animals) will need to happen slowly for him. He is ok with dog savvy cats. Enzo is also fearful of walking on some hard surface floors. Enzo is approximately a year old, and weighs 35-40lbs. He is housetrained, neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and on heartworm prevention. We would like to do a brief home visit to any potential adopter since he has unique needs.
