Story
Duke is deaf. He is a sweet loving dog who loves to be petted and cuddled. I adopted him and his brother from the Human Society as puppies. He will be 2 in November. He knows some signals-sit, no, stop. I use a vibration collar to help with barking. He is very reactive (I think to being deaf) to/with other dogs and watches closely how to respond to a situation. I have never had a problem with him being aggressive to a person. He has never really been around young children. He is active and loves walks and to be outside.

Story
Beauty is a 3-year-old female Chocolate Lab/Pit Bull Terrier mix who must be spayed before adoption.  She came to PAHS as a stray and no owner reclaimed her.  Beauty has a chocolate brown coat with white markings on her chest and a foot.  She weighs 56 pounds so she is a large adult dog.  This pretty girl is leash trained and is calm.  If you have another dog we would suggest you bring your dog in for a 'meet and greet' with Beauty.  She would be good with older children.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  July 26, 2024, 2:57 pm

Story
Major is a 7-month-old male Lab mix who must be neutered before he is adopted.  He is an owner turn in because his owner doesn't have enough time for him.  Major is so handsome with his light tan coat and white markings.  He weighs 30 pounds and we believe he will weigh approximately 50 pounds as an adult.  Major is a GREAT dog!  He is not only a good looking fellow--he is super sweet and friendly.  Major would be great with children and other dogs.  He is shy at first but quickly warms up to you and just loves to be near you.  This amazing young dog is going to make a perfect family dog for some lucky adopter.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  July 26, 2024, 2:57 pm

Nicki is a 3-month-old female Black Lab mix.  She was a stray who was found out in the county; and no owner claimed her.  Nicki has a black coat with just a little bit of white on the tips of her toes.  This sweet gal will be a medium sized adult dog.  Nicki is very shy when she first meets you.  This sweetheart will quickly bond to any adopter who shows her patience and love.  Nicki, once she settles in her new home, will be good with other dogs and children.  Labs are such good companion dogs; and Nicki will be too!Dog/puppy adoption fees are $100.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $50.  July 26, 2024, 2:57 pm
