Story
Boy oh Boy! I guess you could say that I have "been through the ringer!" If I were a cat I may have already used three or four of my "lives" in my short time on this earth! I am a four-month-old lab/retriever mix. When I came to the shelter they noticed that one of my back legs was not right! In fact after going to the vet, they said that my leg was useless and needed to be amputated. Well I had the surgery and began to "practice" walking on three legs, when I came down with parvo! Oh goodness! Could anything else go wrong? Well don't even say that! I survived parvo and then developed kennel cough! After getting big doses of antibiotics for parvo and kennel cough I developed a reaction to the antibiotics that left "boils" on my face and body! Well things seem to be calming down a bit now.....the "boils" are clearing and I am all clear on the parvo and kennel cough. Of course as I was recovering all I could really do was "eat" and I had very little exercise! Sooo I have gained a little weight and must work on walking on my three legs again! Whew! I also have all of my vaccinations, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. Everyone here says that my name "Champ" is just perfect for me, because I have been a "Champ" throughout this whole process! Everyone is hoping that my "forever" family will soon come to the shelter and adopt me! Come on and get that application filled out and meet me! I am precious!

Story
Hello, I'm Moon and I guess I am back where I started! I am a retriever mix that was adopted from the shelter about a year ago as a "wee small" puppy. I had a great life with my owner, but her health began to decline and she had to bring me back to find another home. So I am putting my best paw forward and looking for a new family to love. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. I am a very sweet girl and I hope to have a new home soon!

Story
Hey Guys! My name is LJ and I am one big happy boy! I am a two-year-old retriever/lab mix that is full of love and life! I had a home and family that I loved dearly! Problem was we were out in the county and we had livestock as did out kind neighbors! Well I chased the livestock and that was not good, but I just couldn't stop myself. My family did everything trying to help me behave with farm animals, but nothing worked. Finally it was decided that I needed to live with another family that didn't include farm animals. I have all of my vaccinations, I am heartworm negative, I have a microchip, and I have been neutered. My family only had great things to say about me! I am a sweet dog that is already crate trained and I take care of all of my business when I go outside. I hope to be in a new home soon, but please no horses or cows!
