Story
Buddy is a 2-year-old male Lab/Golden Retriever mix who must be neutered before adoption.  He came to PAHS after being found as a stray; and his owner never came looking for him.  Buddy has a beautiful, shiny, and healthy tan coat with white markings.  He weighs 57 pounds so he is considered to be a large young adult dog.  Buddy is a friendly fellow; and he is a high energy type of guy.  He loves to play outside in our fenced yard; and enjoys being with other dogs.  Buddy is lovable and would do well in a home with older children (due to his activity level).  He will need a securely fenced yard where he can safely play and get the zoomies out.  Buddy can't wait to his very own family!  Come meet him soon!Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120.  Cat/kitten adoption fees are $75.  All pets will be spayed/neutered before adoption; or you will be given a discount spay/neuter certificate to be used at participating vet clinics to help with the cost of spay/neuter.  Our adoption fees cover a microchip, microchip registration, deworming, vaccinations (as age and law requires), and a courtesy vet exam at participating offices. Unless otherwise indicated under 'special needs' our dogs have screened heart worm negative.  January 2, 2026, 7:29 pm

Story
Dodgi is a 2-year-old female Lab mix who must be spayed before adoption.  She is an owner turn in because her owner can no longer take care of her.  This sweet girl has a snow white coat with black markings that include a big black spot on her back, black ears, and a black circle around one eye.  We think Dodgi is one of the prettiest dogs we have ever seen.  She only weighs 34 pounds so she is a great size to fit in just about anywhere.  Pretty is as pretty does--and Dodgi is a big sweetheart!  She has an easy going, pleasant personality that makes her a favorite with everyone.  Dodgi would be great in a home with children and other dogs.  She is very timid and shy at first; but she will warm up quickly to a kind word.  Dodgi will bond quickly with her adopter.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Story
Kendi is a 2-year-old male Lab/Shepherd mix who must be neutered before adoption.  He is an owner turn in because his owner can no longer take care of him. Kendi is tri-color--his coat is black with lots of white markings and some light tan markings.  He weighs 42 pounds so he is a medium sized dog.  Kendi is a bit anxious when you first meet him; but he quickly relaxes and warms up to you once he is around you.  He is very calm, gentle, very loving, and would do well with children.  Kendi has lived with another dog; and he gets along well with other dogs.  This very handsome guy is going to make a great addition to some lucky adopter's family.Dog/puppy adoption fees are $120. Story
Meet Jake – Sweet & Playful Beagador! "Our family is looking for a wonderful forever home for our sweet Beagador (Beagle/Labrador mix). At just over a year old, he is in the best stage of his life—past the tiny puppy phase but full of youthful energy and love. Personality: He has the classic 'hound' curiosity of a Beagle and the loyal, people-pleasing heart of a Lab. He is a social butterfly who loves attention and would be a perfect companion for an active family. Health & Training: • Fully Vetted: He is up to date on all shots and vaccines (records available). • Crate Trained: He is comfortable in his crate (as seen in photos). • Size: Medium-sized, making him a great fit for most homes. Why he’s a great addition: With his friendly nature and 'big puppy' energy, he would make an incredible addition to a home this Christmas. He’s ready to bring joy, wagging tails, and lots of love to a family who has the time to play and grow with him!
