Story
Sweet Hera was picked up in another county by Animal Control. After checking for a chip, they discovered that she was originally adopted from our shelter several years ago. After contacting the original owner, who gave her away “years” ago it was decided that Hera should come back to MHS and get a fresh start with a new family. Hera has all of her vaccinations, she has a microchip, and she has been spayed. One little problem did show up on her health check up. Hera is heartworm positive, but she isn’t worried! Her treatment has already been set up and she is ready to get started. What Hera needs right now is a foster so she can get her treatment started and hopefully find her forever home soon.

Story
Colonel is one cute fellow! He is a three-year-old retriever/lab mix that was found running loose in a neighborhood! His owners either didn’t keep him at home or he escaped his yard on a regular basis. Either way his safety was what mattered most. Someone called Animal Control about him and a deputy came out to pick him up. His owners never came for him and he is now looking for a new home. Colonel has all of his vaccinations, he is heartworm negative, he has a microchip, and he has been neutered. Colonel is a big boy weighing in at about 90 pounds! We think that he is “90 pounds of love and fun!” Make sure you have a secure yard for Colonel. We think he may be an escape artist!!

Hazel can be very shy and skittish so needs a calm home where she can develop trust. She would do best in a home with another dog to help her confidence.  She is sweet and wants love but much of the world scares her so a calm home where she can develop confidence is best.   DOG ADOPTION FEE is $100.
