Story
London came to us with her brother, Luke.  They were an owner surrender, had too many dogs.  She has been outside most of her life but is using the doggy door and doing well inside.  She is very playful, full of energy and loves human attention.  She does ok with other dogs and kids but no cats.  She loves toys and to play ball. London also loves belly rubs. She had never worn a collar or a leash when we got her, but is learning very quickly - she is a smart little Cookie. Most outside dogs are easily house trained too. London would make a great pup for a family that will shower her with affection. She is 7 months old and weighs 40lbs (as of 2/26/24).  If you would like more information, please contact our shelter at 870-269-5200 or go to our website at schspets.org and complete an adoption application and someone will contact you for a meet and greet.April 27, 2024, 4:53 pm

Story
• 1yr 8mo • Good with children • Good with other dogs • Nocturnal - Outdoor • Has killed chickens Dodge came to us 8 months ago when our neighbor was leaving the country and asked if we would take him. He is great at defending our home, keeping the coyotes and racoons away from our chickens. He was an outdoor dog when we received him and has remained so. Dodge is extremely friendly to everyone he meets, including children and other dogs. It’s only a few minutes before he rolls over so you can rub his belly. When we walk around our property, he stays nearby keeping watch. He alerted us to a copperhead during one of our walks (as seen in the pictures). He loves to play in the water and mud. Unfortunately, his prey instinct can be triggered by our chickens, and he has chased 2 into the woods. We can’t seem to break the instinct and need to rehome him.
