Story
Brittany is a 7-month-old Lab mix. As she got bigger, we noticed Brittany looked a little bit different in her back end. We took X-Rays and to our surprise she had a defect in her pelvis. We aren’t sure if she was born this way like a birth defect or caused from an injury when she was very young before coming into our care. As of now she is a happy loving playful puppy that isn’t even phased by the fact she’s a little bit different. She doesn’t show any signs of being painful at all even when the doctor manipulates her hips. So as for now we aren’t going to do surgery since she isn’t in any Pain or causing problems. Recovery time from the surgery she would need is painful and takes about 4-6 months. Brittany needs a loving home, one that can take good care of her and be understanding that she’s just a little different and this makes her very special.

Story
• 1yr 8mo • Good with children • Good with other dogs • Nocturnal - Outdoor • Has killed chickens Dodge came to us 8 months ago when our neighbor was leaving the country and asked if we would take him. He is great at defending our home, keeping the coyotes and racoons away from our chickens. He was an outdoor dog when we received him and has remained so. Dodge is extremely friendly to everyone he meets, including children and other dogs. It’s only a few minutes before he rolls over so you can rub his belly. When we walk around our property, he stays nearby keeping watch. He alerted us to a copperhead during one of our walks (as seen in the pictures). He loves to play in the water and mud. Unfortunately, his prey instinct can be triggered by our chickens, and he has chased 2 into the woods. We can’t seem to break the instinct and need to rehome him.
