Story
Juno, a graceful 5-year-old beauty, is eagerly awaiting the chance to be your newest family member. With an air of calmness and an easygoing demeanor, Juno is one of the most charming pups around. This gentle soul has mastered the art of relaxation. Nice, calm, and easygoing, Juno radiates tranquility. Juno comes with a repertoire of tricks up her paw – she knows `sit` and is more than happy to share a friendly shake. But it`s not just about manners; she`s got a curious side too. Juno delights in the simple joys of life, with a keen interest in the world around her, particularly through the art of sniffing. She walks well with her canine companions, showcasing her sociable nature. Though initially on the shy side, this only adds to her endearing qualities, making the journey of getting to know Juno all the more special. If you`re seeking a companion who exudes sweetness, calmness, and a touch of curiosity, Juno is the one for you.

Story
Introducing Plankton, a dog with a heart as big as the ocean and the potential to become your most loyal companion. Plankton, like the small ocean creature he`s named after, may seem tiny at first, but his capacity for love is enormous. Plankton has had his share of shyness, especially around new people and other dogs. He`s dog-shy and can be quite reserved when meeting new faces. It takes time for him to come out of his shell and reveal his true nature. Once he does, you`ll discover a super lovable and playful side to him that`s simply heartwarming. Earning Plankton`s trust is a rewarding journey. Patience and understanding are key when forming a bond with him. He would thrive in a home where there`s always someone willing to work with him, patiently helping him build confidence and grow comfortable in his surroundings. He takes treats very gently. Due to Plankton`s initial shyness and hesitancy, we`re uncertain about how he might react to cats or children. A quiet home, with a serene and understanding atmosphere, would be the best fit for him. With the right environment and the right person to connect with, Plankton can truly blossom into the loving dog he is at heart. Plankton is a big love bug just waiting for the right heart to connect with. If you`re a patient and compassionate individual looking to make a deep and lasting bond with a furry friend, Plankton is the perfect companion for you.-IN FOSTER CARE

Story
Introducing Sniper, the shelter`s very own marksman with a heart as gentle as a whisper. Sniper may have a name that sounds like he`s always on high alert, but in reality, he`s the definition of tranquility. He`s the calming presence you need in a busy world, a reminder to slow down and savor the moments. His name may evoke images of precision and focus, and you`ll find that Sniper lives up to this reputation, especially when it comes to taking treats. He`s the epitome of gentleness and precision, just like a true marksman. Not only does Sniper bring a sense of composure to your life, but he`s also a social butterfly in the canine world. He`s dog-friendly and cat-friendly, which means he`ll fit right into a multi-pet household, bringing harmony to your furry family. He`s the peacekeeper, ensuring that everyone gets along swimmingly. Sniper prefers the company of older kids who can match his excitement. Sniper may not be a sniper in the traditional sense, but he`s a master of stealing hearts with his gentle disposition. He`s waiting to be the calm in your storm, the precision in your life, and the love in your heart.

Story
Breed is best guess based on behavior and looks. Embark DNA is waiting for return. Bonnie is tiny for a Ridgeback mix but she has many characteristics of the breed. She is currently only 40lbs. Bonnie is in a house with both large and small dogs and loves them all. She is shy at first but once she warms up, she's ready to get the snuggle on!!! Bonnie is doing great on house training and even knows the doggy door. She is working on basic obedience but is fully crate trained and loves playing fetch. She'd do great as a walking buddy or just someone to lounge around the house with when she's played hard all day.

Story
We took in Jethro about a year ago from some friends of ours who were moving and asked us to keep him, he is a sweet dog but we can’t keep 2 large dogs. We have a rescue dog as well who has reverted back to some heartbreaking behaviors he had when we first rescued him, he seems unsure of having another dog in the house. Though we want Jethro to have a good home as well we fear for our other dogs emotional wellbeing right now. He is not 100% lab but not sure what he is mixed with. He is a happy and energetic dog, he loves running around in the backyard, playing with toys, looking out the door and windows and barks to let you know when he sees things, and he loves to eat. He likely needs some training, the barking and pulling on the leash is a little worrisome. He is a little skittish of new people, specifically men but warms up pretty fast.

Story
SUGAR FREE!! We dont want any money but want a good loving home for her. We have all her med records for review. She is a gem for an active family or couple!! We rescued Sugar from a breeder in Pennsylvania for cost of vet bills in June of 2023. She was 13 weeks old at that time; now 15 months. She is not an AKC registered dog, but we met Dame and Sire and both are beautiful Chocolate Labs. Weighed in 73 lbs. last week and expect her to max at 80-85 lbs. based on Mom and Dad. All shots current. She was spayed in August 2023. A fun dog and loves to play ball, is very athletic, and in excellent shape. We walk her 2-3 miles a day, most days. Good with kids, adults, and other dogs. Sugar listens well and easily redirected - understands No, Sit Down Ball, Leave it. Plays hide and seek - intelligent dog. Sugar comes with Red Collar (her favorite color), 1 large Kong Kennel, 2 Kong Leashes, 1 Kong Harness, tennis balls, toys, and remaining food.

Story
If Alaqua had a "class clown" it would be Dudley. Dudley is a total goofball full of playful energy who is always ready for some fun. He loves to go on walks and gleefully plays with toys in the play yard. The cutest thing is he loves learning new things! He loves being a student! He is a little picky with his dog friends, but is generally a happy-go-lucky guy. Dudley would prefer a home without cats, and a yard to play in would be ideal. He is great with kids! Bring some joy into your life by adopting lovable Dudley. Seeing his sweet happy face everyday will be sure to bring you endless smiles!
