Story
PIPER Sweet 1-yr old, 40 lb. Piper was picked up with her lab buddy Pat, and it’s clear life hasn’t been easy on them. She’s far too thin, but her spirit is still bright — tail wagging, eyes hopeful, soaking up every bit of kindness she’s offered.True to her Lab roots, Piper is friendly, social, and joyfully people-oriented. She’s easygoing with other dogs, wiggles her whole body when you talk to her, and seems happiest when she’s near her humans or hanging with her canine friends. With good food, love, and a safe place to rest, Piper is going to blossom into the gorgeous, goofy, loyal Lab she was always meant to be. She just needs someone to believe in her and give her the chance. Piper is ready for rescue, foster, or adoption — she’ll thrive in a home that can show her kindness, structure, and a full food bowl.January 25, 2026, 1:20 am

Story
PAT Handsome 1 yr, 48 lb Pat was found alongside his lab friend Piper — both thin, both neglected — and yet both still trusting and full of love. Pat leans in for affection, presses his head against you, and looks at you like he’s asking, “Am I safe now?”He is a classic happy Lab: social, playful, and tolerant, with a gentle, wiggly energy. Pat does well with other dogs and clearly enjoys canine companionship — he’s the kind of boy who would happily romp in a yard with a buddy and then crash at your feet. With steady meals and a little TLC, Pat will fill out beautifully and become the loyal, fun-loving family dog Labs are famous for. Pat is looking for rescue, foster, or adoption — someone willing to help him get healthy and finally feel secure.January 25, 2026, 1:20 am

Story
Roman was originally named Poof at the shelter and he was the cutest little poof ball, however I quickly realized he was so strong, physically and -willed. He is extremely smart, and loves a good treat (and when I say loves, I mean he will pull out every trick in the book for one i.e. sit, lay, up, stay, paw, come). His middle name is Fetch because that is his favorite thing to do besides jump. He loves the Jolly Balls and will take the outer ring off of a tennis ball just to turn it into the texture of a Jolly Ball. He LOVES to play and is extremely energetic and needs a yard to play in, however he does love a good belly rub. He loves other dogs, however has trouble learning social cues and not getting in other's faces. He gets along well with cats and likes to try to play with them (if they let, so far, not much luck). Potty training is a work in progress and he does like to mouth/cob people's hands and arms. He hasn't been through formal training at this time and really needs it.

She loves people very much and has a lot of character and loves to play and retrieve. The original owner bought her for duck hunting, but she does not like the marsh. She has $6K of training. The original owner who knows my brother gave the dog to him, but he does not have time for the dogs needs.

Story
Koda is a 6-year-old dog who was saved from a family that was planning to abandon him. He is neutered (no paperwork available) and has been a truly wonderful companion. Koda loves to cuddle and enjoys going on walks. He is very quiet and rarely barks, is kennel trained, fully potty trained, and does great with other animals. He has a calm, gentle nature and fits easily into a routine. Due to severe allergies, I am unfortunately unable to keep Koda. This decision has been incredibly difficult, as he truly is the best dog. My only goal is to find him a safe, loving, and permanent home where he will be cherished the way he deserves.

Story
We adopted him in Ponchatoula. He's just over a year old. He is very energetic! He plays a little rough, and would not be suitable for small children or those that are unstable on their feet. He is sweet and never meets anyone who he doesn't love. He is a remarkable jumper/parkour enthusiast. (3 plus feet upright) Spud is very food motivated and has been trained to do many tricks. (Sit/stay, outside/inside, go potty, upstairs/downstairs, lay down, waits for permission to eat, give kisses, kennel, shake/high five, dance (will jump up to your waist for a little boogie). Spud needs a backyard to get his zoomies out. He requires frequent potty breaks and attention. He will let you know when he wants your undivided attention. Looking to rehome him due to a career change that prohibits us from having a second pet around children.
