Story
Asher is a special needs dog. He is blind, but gets along just fine, though he bumps into things until he becomes familiar with the area. Asher does well on his own, or with other animals, but he does need to be in a home with someone that has time to play with him or snuggle him. He loves to play with his soccer ball, and stays close during the nights. He does great on leashed walks, or in an open field, such as farm land. He does not like to be fenced in to small spaces for long periods of time. We are needing to rehome Asher due to changes in our family and no time to be home.

Story
Hunter is a very loved family pet. He was my son’s pet and since my son has gone to college we aren’t home enough to give Hunter the love and attention he deserves. He deserves to be with someone who is home at least in the evenings and wants that pet that will curl up next to them. Hunter is very affectionate and his favorite place is next to one of us. He is a very fast sprinter. We had another dog who passed from old age and they loved each other so Hunter was good with other dogs but after being attacked by our neighbors dogs (while on a walk) he has since been nervous around other dogs. That was several years ago. He lives with two cats who don’t really engage with Hunter but occasionally they will make attempts to play with each other. Hunter would probably be the happiest pet sitting on the couch with someone binge watching some Netflix shows. It makes me sad for him that we don’t have that kind of time and I want him to have that.

Story
Hi, I am Onxy! My daddy passed away unexpectedly, and my mom became ill and couldn’t take care of us. You see, my sister and I were adopted as puppies, and we were my dad’s whole world. With health issues of her own, our mom gave us to my dad’s daughter. We lived in a cage, and every few days she would come out to fill our food bowl, but because she was on oxygen, she couldn’t do much else. After dad’s passing, we were taken from North Carolina to Missouri in hopes of a better life. Our new mom took us to the vet, got my sister treated for heartworms (she feels much better now!), and made sure I was up to date on my shots. You see, she promised that if she couldn’t keep us, she would find someone who could. We have a very high prey drive and managed to break out of—and into—a couple of fences because we wanted to play with the chickens. Unfortunately, it didn’t end well. We are really good dogs and listen both on and off a leash; we just can’t be trusted on a farm with small fowl.

Story
At just 11-12 months old, Atlas is as cute as a button and full of his handsomes charm! His favorite things in life include: Playing ball Hanging out with his doggy friends (especially the girls!) Going for walks and being near his people Enjoying long-lasting chews and fun toys Attie can be a little shy when meeting new people, but give him a moment and he’ll soon show you his sweet, loving personality. Once he knows you, he’ll be your shadow and your biggest fan! This smart boy already has a nice recall, isn’t too interested in cats, and we think he’d do well in a home with respectful kids ages 10 and up. He’s housetrained and does fine being left alone for short periods in a crate or a puppy-proofed room. Atlas gets along well other dogs—he just seems to really loves the ladies as playmates. Plus, he’s super photogenic (get ready for your camera roll to fill up fast)! If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and affectionate companion, Attie is your guy! Low adoption fee for veterans! All our pets are spayed/neutered, heartworm-tested, microchipped, and current on vaccines and preventatives. Message us we promise a timely replay.  ##2616415##
