WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Kisa came to us because neighbors were threatening to shoot her and her brother. She had a a rough start at life, but this is an amazing young dog completely House trained. She loves snuggles and loves her squeaky toys and when she gets the zoomies, it’s just downright hilarious. I don’t have a clue why this dog has not been adopted yet. Very sweet and outgoing excited for you when you come home. Please give her the home. She needs open your heart and welcome her to your family. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Howdy, y’all. Name’s Waylon Jennings. I’m a four-month-old pup with a soft white coat, tan-tipped ears, and a heart that’s already bigger than my paws. Folks say I’ll grow up to be about 40 pounds—just the right size for curling up on the couch and still being easy to scoop up when I get the zoomies. My story started on a property with a bunch of unfixed adult dogs. It wasn’t an easy beginning. Almost all of my littermates didn’t make it—they were lost to the heat and parasites. Somehow I held on. I’m the one who made it out. And now? I’m happy. Really happy. Healthy, full of energy, and so excited for what’s next. I’m the kind of dog who greets every day like it’s the best one yet. I love people, I love other dogs, and I especially love water. Puddles, sprinklers, baths, lakes… if it’s water, I’m in it. You’ll probably catch me standing in the middle of a rainstorm with a goofy grin on my face like I just won the lottery. I’m super sweet and easygoing. I get along with just about everybody I meet and I’m happiest when I’m part of the pack—whether that pack is two-legged, four-legged, or both. I don’t do drama; I do belly rubs, silly faces, and long naps after playtime. Life’s pretty simple for me right now: eat, play, splash, snuggle, repeat. Our app can be found at haydudeequine.org Hey. I’m Walker. I am the smallest of the litter, and the one who takes “think before you leap” seriously. People say I’m a Border Collie–Lab mix, which means I got the smarts of a Collie… but luckily not the full-throttle, never-stop-running energy. I’m more of a medium-energy guy. I’ll solve the puzzle, then take a nap about it. I’m also the shy one. When I first meet someone I do this whole “I’m just a mysterious black-and-white shadow observing from a safe distance” routine. Give me thirty seconds and a kind word, though, and the act falls apart. Suddenly I’m all wiggles, soft eyes, and “okay fine, you’re my person now.” I warm up fast once I decide the coast is clear. I’m happy-go-lucky in the best way — not the bouncing-off-the-walls kind, more the “life is pretty great and I plan to enjoy it at a reasonable speed” kind. I like other dogs, I like people, and I especially like water. My early chapter wasn’t great. My story started on a property with a bunch of unfixed adult dogs. It wasn’t an easy beginning. Almost all of my littermates didn’t make it—they were lost to the heat and parasites. Somehow I held on. I’m one who made it out. I’m looking for a home that appreciates a slightly dramatic, medium-energy smarty-pants who will stick close once he trusts you… and who will pretend not to notice when I overthink a simple treat.
