Crate trained, housetrained & obediant, Energetic, healthy young lab mix, Ringo can be skittish of sudden movements but once he realizes you mean him no harm, he wants all the love you have to give, abandoned as a pup by the side of a highway, poor Ringo almost starved to death with his brother waiting for help, completely emaciated when found it he has hairloss on his hips where the bones rubbed through, it doesn’t deter from his beauty though, and this now 50lb boy would love an active home to be a part of! Meet Skye! Skye is a 4-year-old pit-lab mix who loves being outside or taking naps around the house! We rescued Skye from the humane society in Marion, Indiana. Prior to that, she was on the streets for 2 months after being abandoned by her family. Unfortunately, the newest little (human) member of our family is allergic, so we are looking for the perfect home for Skye. Skye would love a home where she can go outside regularly (either a fenced in back yard or a person who loves walks). She would do best in a home without other dogs. Skye loves people, and especially kids! She loves running around with them or getting the "zoomies" while playing with them. I've seen her interact with kids 6 months - 6 years, and she has always been comfortable and non-aggressive. I've even seen an 18-month-old pull her tail without Skye reacting at all. If Skye needs space, she just goes to her crate. She has never torn up any of our belongings. Skye is relaxed, gentle, and a little goofy!
