Story
Born August 2025, currently weighing 15lbs, we expect her to be a medium sized dog with a stocky body and shorter legs. Nani and her siblings had a very hard start in life. They were born on a rural property largely uncared for until a worried neighbour went to check on them to bring them food. She found that they suffered from significant wounds on their back from the fencing which was badly infected. The neighbour took all the dogs home to care for them and had them spayed / neutered. They are now under the care of the SPCA PV jointly with the foster, and have received all of their vaccines as they prepare for happier lives. She will have some permanent scarring on her back, and lost part of her tail due to the injuries. Nani is looking for a quiet home to slowly expose her to a kinder, gentler world. If you think you might be a fit for this young girl either as her forever home, or a foster refuge along the way, reach out to us at pvcaadoptions@gmail.com

Story
Meet sweet Lilah, a happy and affectionate senior girl with a liveliness that belies her age! Lilah loves cuddles, enrichment activities, and sticking close to her chosen people. At her age, being picked up is not too comfortable, but she`ll happily snuggle up with you on the floor or couch! In fact, Lilah would happily go everywhere with you, but she is comfortable waiting at home if you MUST leave her behind. Be prepared for this little bean to turn into a pogo stick of happiness when you get home though!! Lilah enjoys her walks, but is not a big fan of the snow, so she`d rather visit a pet friendly store to get her steps in on snowy days. She has previously lived with polite large and small dogs, so may do well with your furry crew at home. As far as Lilah is concerned she`s got a long life ahead and lots of love to give - she can`t wait to meet you!Lilah is:- open to kids (older preferred)- open to cats- open to dogs with successful intro
