Story
Goldie would like a dog companion in her forever home and no young kids Goldie, AKA Lapsy (you'll see why below), gets all the gold stars for being such a sweet, amazing girl who is working hard on being the best pup around. ⭐⭐⭐ Goldie is a female Chihuahua/Dachshund mix who weighs approximately 10lbs of love and sweetness. Goldie can't get enough of small and medium sized dogs. Goldie is as sweet as she is kind and while she can be nervous of loud areas, she would likely do well with older kids who are respectful of her and treat her like the princess she is. In return, she will reward them with love and lots of cuddles. ☺️ Goldie loves to play and chase so she would do well in a home without cats as she would probably chase them non-stop. Unless the cat likes that sort of relentless play..... 😂😂 Goldie is working hard on learning what a leash is all about. Because she's scared of loud and new areas, she is practicing regularly in the yard until she gains more confidence. A fenced yard would be best as this girl likes to chase 'lil critters. Goldie isn't a big fan of being crated but she gets to hang out in a gated area of the house when her foster family is out. She will sing the song of her people when you leave but that's just her way of getting you back home. 😁 Potty training is coming along nicely. Miss Goldie is pee pad trained and seeing her pack go outside to do their business has prompted her to learn to start going outside too. She is smart as she is cute! 😉 Goldie loves to jump into your lap for cuddles and snuggles. Hence her nickname "Lapsy"...you can always find her in someone's lap. ☺️ She loves her stuffies and keeps busy with her treat puzzles. Goldie can get a serious case of the zoomies whether she's inside or outside but she also loves her downtime just chilling out next to you. Her favourite spot will forever be in your lap or beside you in bed so make room for this little lovebug. Goldie has so much to offer and so much love to give. Apply today to meet Goldie. ⭐♥️⭐

Story
NOTE: Marshmallow is blind and deaf but she does really well finding her way around! Soft & squishy. Sweet & addicting. ✨ Meet Marshmallow, the one year old Dachshund/Bully mix who's as sweet and loving as they come. At 26 pounds, Marshmallow's perfect size allows her to lay directly on your lap which just happens to be her favourite spot! 🥰 Marshmallow is special in so many ways. She is blind and deaf but that doesn't stop her from enjoying her simple pleasures like belly rubs and laying on your lap. If you leave, she knows and she gets a major case of the wiggle butt when she finds you. 🥹 Marshmallow does well with bigger breeds who are patient with her. She can be a bit much for older and smaller dogs. Marshmallow may be better suited to a home with no cats, or a chill cat as she likes to chase them to try and play. 😔 At this time, Marshmallow would be okay with older kids. Marshmallow is actively working on her leash skills. She may be a little awkward at the moment, but she gets nothing but gold stars for her effort! ⭐⭐⭐ Marshmallow spends lots of time outside and knows that's the place to do her business. She does well in her crate if enticed with a treat but she'd much rather be on your lap. Wait, did we mention that already? 😉 When woken up, Marshmallow will roll over for belly rubs so be prepared to make this girl happy. Marshmallow loves hanging out in the yard and trots around like she has somewhere to go. Even though she's just going in circles, her happiness is contagious and her joy for life is amazing. We can all be a little more like Marshmallow! ☺️ Marshmallow is looking for a special forever home who can show her love, safety and happiness. And definitely people who don't mind a cute pup on their lap more often than not. ☺️ Apply today to meet Marshmallow! ♥️
