Shes a tender, shy girl who came from a hoarding situation, so shes still learning what it means to feel safe and loved. With patience, kindness, and the support of a loving four-legged sibling, Bambi will absolutely blossom. She currently takes medication to help with anxiety, and it has been a helpful part of her healing journey. What she needs most now is a calm, compassionate home where she can continue to grow and trust. Her adoption fee of $350 includes vaccines, spay, heartworm test, deworming, and microchip. Following her person around and sitting besides them, sunbathing, and soaking up love like a sponge. She's enjoys going on walks however she barks at other dogs she passes, so needs work on that. She knows her commands; come, sit, and stay. She is very smart and obedient! 1 year old female  11 pounds  Canela was rescued from the streets of Puerto Rico and is still learning that everything isn’t scary. She jumps at new things and sometimes things she’s seen before.  She takes a little bit to get used to new situations, but is getting better all the time. Once she gets comfortable with someone, she would like to be next to them as much as possible. She cuddles up to women faster than men, but it does happen within a couple of days.  Canela really needs another young and confident dog in her forever home to show her how good life can be. She loves to play and we want to be sure she has a playmate.
