Story
Simba, who is 15 years old, was surrendered to the shelter today. Dad has gone to assisted living and the family wants to travel so they don't want him. Yes, he is an older gentleman but seems to love people. He is pacing a lot right now as his whole world has been completely turned upside down. He has an appointment with the vet on Monday, 03/04/2024, and will be fully vetted before he goes home. He is neutered and has had shots in the past but he needs to be updated. He does appear to have some vision loss but seems to hear pretty well. He is a sweet boy just looking for a soft place to lay his head with someone who will love him until his last day. Please think about opening your heart to this precious boy. He may be toward the end of his life but he still has a lot of love to give and a lot of life to live. He will warm your heart for the precious time you will have with him. He is 6 lbs and is a miniature pinscher. His adoption fee is $100. Please go to pawspaws.org to complete the PAWS application and make this boy part of your family. He just wants to be loved...

Story
Bert was found as a stray and came to PAWS through an Animal Control facility, He is an older gentleman who is very sweet and funny. He loves life and is just the happiest boy. He does have cataracts but still sees very well and does have some diminished hearing but still hears pretty well. His joints are a bit stiff so he does take some pain meds to manage that. He has a heart murmur and a few other small issues that just come along with aging (just like us!). He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on shots, has just had a dental and is on heartworm preventative. He does well on a leash although he can't take long walks but he is good to take a short walk! His adoption fee is $150. If you think you can provide the love and attention that this boy needs and is so deserving of, please go to pawspaws.org and complete the PAWS application. We will not respond to the Petfinder Inquiry, only to the PAWS application found on our website. Once we have an approved application, we will schedule a meet and greet to see if you are a match. Thanks so much for your interest!
