Please contact Vivienne (viviennejames@comcast.net) for more information about this pet.Meet young Mr. Slick.  This is the prefect name for this young man as he is a slick little dude that easily worms his way into your heart.  He has that is as soft and shiny as a piece of silk.  This sweet little guy was found as a stray in south Nashville and taken in my Miss Heidi.  She owns a doggie day care and boarding business and Slick is having a blast.  It was a little overwhelming at first but he is now friends with everyone and fitting right in.  He is great with all the dogs but prefers Miss Heidi.  He is her little shadow and follows her everywhere.  All he wants to do is sit next to her or in her lap.  Snuggling is his favorite thing.  He slept through the night the first night without making a peep.  He is housebroken and OK on a leash.  He is a smart guy and will get that quickly.  Slick will make a great family pet.  He is young and has to learn some manners but is not a jumper.  Children 8 and over would be the best match for him.  Silky would also be a great dog for a young couple.  He is neutered, current on all his shots and microchipped.  He is ready for his forever family to find him.  If you are looking for the perfect lap warmer, then you have found him.  To be considered for Slick's forever family and to request and application please contact Vivienne at viviennejames@comcast.net.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.April 28, 2024, 4:57 pm

This little pretty chocolate dappled girl is called Mazie and goodness what a cracker jack she is.  Don’t for minute let those green eyes and chocolate marbled coat fool you to think she is gentle or easy.  She is the CEO of dogs and will run the show at your house if given the chance.  Mazie is 20 pounds and 9 months old.  She is a breed mix of Dachshund and Basset Hound we are told.  Her pics make her look big but she is a “tiny but mighty” little girl.  Mazie is not a fan of any other female dogs in her life or around her.  We don’t know where that came from but the dislike is there so we say…don’t ignore the warning.  She is great with big male dogs, not good with other small dogs or cats, but loves people deeply and wants to be around them.  She needs a fenced yard because she is a runner as most Dachshunds can be and she needs to be able to run and play and get her energy out daily.  Older children would be better for her and she is crate trained, 90% housebroken and she adores going for walks; a very good girl on a leash we can say.  She is beautiful but a “tad” bit complicated, which is why we have outlined the Likes and Dislikes of this girl to a TEE!  We want the right and perfect home and there are lots out there that can give her that.  Tiny but Mighty little Mazie is ready for a home NOW!  Please email us at Critter Cavalry Rescue : ccrtennessee@gmail.com   Tell us where you live when you email asking for information and an application. Story

My name is Sweet Pea and I am truly a sweet little pea!   My story began about 5-6 years ago when I came to live with a family who had way too many dogs.  They could not afford to spay and neuter and so a lot of us had puppies over and over.  Now I am with Critter Cavalry Rescue  and they promised me a better family life ahead.  I am a Dachshund/Terrier mix and I weigh 22 lbs and could probably walk a few pounds off this Spring and Summer with an active and fun person that would adopt me.  I was terrified beyond words when I first moved from my overcrowded home to this nice new foster house.  But soon I have realized I am safe and well fed and that these people are very stable and will get me to the vet when I need to go.  I am housebroken, ride just fine in a car and I am going to love to sit on your lap and make you feel loved and cherished by ME!  I do not like to walk on a leash.  I can learn if you are patient to teach me but I think I initially need to go to a home with a fenced yard and then learn how to walk nicely there in the backyard. It is not biggie but right now it kind of isn’t a fav thing to do.  Other than the leash, I am pretty perfect!  I am healthy and I love to give kisses and adoring looks to my fav humans.  If you want to invite me to come live with you please email ccrtennessee@gmail.com   I am ready to pack my bags!
