Meet Eddie! 🐾❤️ Eddie is a young, happy mixed-breed boy with a big heart, a goofy personality, and absolutely no idea that he’s 65–70 pounds and not actually a lap dog! 😂 This handsome boy loves people and is always happy to make new friends—especially when those friends come bearing treats! He gets along well with both male and female dogs and doesn’t mind sharing his space with cats, too. Eddie is an active boy who loves to run, play, and stretch his legs, but once the fun is over, he’s ready to curl up with his favorite human. His favorite place to be is as close to you as possible, preferably right in your lap. ❤️ He’s still working on his leash manners and learning that car rides are supposed to be a relaxing experience rather than an exciting adventure. With some patience, consistency, and continued training, Eddie is sure to keep making great progress. If you’re looking for a happy, affectionate, fun-loving dog who will keep you smiling and happily snuggle up beside you at the end of the day, Eddie might just be your guy! 🐶💙 Eddie is ready to find a family who will love him, keep working with him, and appreciate all the love this big ol’ lap dog has to give! Story
Meet Lucy, a pup whose night-and-day transformation might bring tears to your eyes.  A few months ago when Lucy was found alone at an RV park, you wouldn’t have even recognized her. She was covered in mange, underweight and very uncomfortable. Thankfully a kind person kept her safe, sought medical help and never gave up on her. A foster home took Lucy in a month later. As her fluffy coat has continued to fill in, Lucy has also been doing internal work: learning to walk on a leash, learning to come into the house, learning to enjoy being petted. Lucy has made great strides and is now an absolute joy in a pint-sized package. She’s approximately 26 pounds at 7 months old and seems to be growing at a very slow pace. Her breed test showed that she’s a mix of large and small breeds. Great Pyrenees and Husky were the top two breeds, but she also had some small amounts of Chihuahua, rat terrier and miniature schnauzer. The breed test predicted her full grown weight could be as low as 33 pounds.  Lucy absolutely adores other dogs and would love a doggy companion in her forever home. She looks so happy when she’s outside playing a game of chase with her foster puppy friend Linus. But Lucy isn’t an overly energetic puppy, so even the old grumpy dogs don’t mind having her around.  Lucy will need a patient owner who will give her time to feel comfortable. New situations and new people still make Lucy nervous, but she has become very comfortable in her foster home where she takes naps on her back in hopes she might get a belly rub. Lucy now seeks out attention, but she would never jump on you trying to get it. She’s very polite and well behaved in the house.  Lucy is fully potty trained and loves being in her crate. It was her safe spot while she worked up the courage to fully incorporate into her foster family.  Lucy has had quite the journey, and we want to find a forever home that’s perfect for her.
