Story
Archer is 7 years old and is a Great Pyrenees/Australian Shepherd mix. He loves to cuddle, is great with our 1 year old. We relocated and don’t have the space in our yard here for him to roam that he needs, we also don’t have the time with our work schedules and a young kid. He does great with cats, loves cuddling, needs work on the leash (he likes to pull). He does not like really small dogs but does well with larger dogs. He does great with our other 45lb dog but would really thrive as an only household dog. He does have some anxiety especially with loud noises so we do have him on an anti anxiety mediation which has helped. Very healthy dog. Ideally he’d go to a home with a good sized yard or property. People who enjoy giving lots of attention petting and cuddling him. He’s not big into fetch but loves following you around the yard and lays at your side in the house.

Story
Jake is 7 years old and for the most part a pretty mellow dog, he will lay at your feet or on his bed but definitely enjoys cuddling and playing out back. He loves walks (needs some work as he likes to pull) and being with people. Prefers not to be left alone outside, he will sit at the back door waiting for someone to play with. He’s good with other dogs and cats but would also be a great as single dog household. He’s great with our 1 year old daughter but does give a small under the breath growl if he wants to be left alone (I call him a grumpy old man in that regard). He is not aggressive and has never bit anyone, that’s just his way of communicating. He’s otherwise very playful and somewhat of a ditz. He chases his own tail in circles and loves playing with the cat.He does have thyroid medication but other than that he’s a healthy dog.

Mortimer is a handsome 4-year-old Great Pyrenees/Anatolian Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his fluffy white coat. Rescued as a pup from the desert, he’s been loved and cared for ever since; now he’s ready for the right home where he can truly thrive. Mortimer is loving, loyal, and protective, a natural guardian who adores snuggles, car rides, and long walks. He’s house-trained, healthy, neutered, and up to date on all vaccines. He loves being pampered and welcomes getting brushed and having his nails trimmed. Mortimer loves being close to his people but might be better as the only dog in the home, he’ll happily give you all his love and attention! His ideal family has a secure space with room to roam and do what he does best: watch over his world and his humans. Mortimer will be your devoted companion and protector, ready to brighten every day with gentle affection and goofy charm.
