Story
Hello Everyone, this is Skylar, she is a 5 year old German Shepard, Anatolian Shepard mix. Skylar's story is a sad one. She was my mother's best friend, but mom for the last year has been frequently in and out of the hospital. My mom passed away May this year, and the last time she left for the hospital, she didn't come back. Skylar has no idea where she went and since then has been scared of her family leaving the house without her. However, she is VERY friendly, always wants to be outside with her family, loves people, and children. We need help re-homing her to a loving house where she can get lots of pets and take lots of runs or walks (She is FAST!) She is great with cats and other dogs if you let her get used to them first, otherwise she's very cautious and defensive around other dogs. When she was a puppy she was bullied by bigger dogs. She is good around cats though and even a little scared of them. shes afraid of thunder and will hide under something.

Story
A newly discovered allergy means we need to find her a new loving home asap or she will have to go to a shelter. Toffee is a very sweet girl. She knows sit, come, paw (shake), outside, and down (as in off furniture). Her birthday is Oct 7th, 2025 so she is almost a year old. She loves peanut butter and/or bacon treats. She is independent but will like to sit next to you or at your feet and get lots of pets. She is good at walks and doesn't pull on the leash. She doesn't mind car rides. As a young dog she can get excitable at the beginning of a walk but just let her sniff for a second and she settles down. She is great with kids even if our toddler hugs her too much, Toffee just excepts the love. Toffee is spayed and totally up to date on her shots, heartworm med, and flea tick treatment. She will come with two beds, blankets, harness leash, toys, food/water bowls, large food storage container, and whatever food and treats we still have along with several months of heartworm medication.
