Story
I greeted the PACA volunteer with tail wags at the shelter where I ended up. She took a liking to me, and I loved it when she picked me up. My tail was thumping on her jacket. She found a foster home for me until I get adopted. I was only at her house for a night, but here is what she learned about me so far: I am always happy to spend time with people, but I can entertain myself. I slept all night in my crate and went potty outside. I got a bath, and while it wasn’t my favorite thing, I held still and let her wash the shelter smell off me. I like other dogs and try to get them to play by putting my butt in the air and wagging my tail. I like to chase a ball and explore outside. I know who my mom was, but since I can’t talk, the foster mom is guessing I am a Cattle dog and Great Pyrenees mixed together. I will probably weigh at least 60 lbs when grown. I am a chunky boy with sturdy bones, so they are calling me Hefty. If you’re interested in meeting Hefty, come to our adoption event on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month from 11am-2pm, located at 6300 San Mateo NE in the south Sprouts parking lot.
