Story
I saw a posting on social media of his owner seeking to rehome him. Having recently lost my Great Pyrenees mix, I told his owner that I would either keep or foster him. They had tried to surrender him at the shelter and was told he would be euthanized immediately. I have had him for about six weeks. His registered name is Fenres, they called him Finny but I think Gus fits him best so I call him that. He growls at my other dog (female) and my cat and just randomly so I think it is his way to communicate something. My cat wants nothing to do with him. He has never attacked either one but his previous owner said he's territorial with male dogs. My female dog is not afraid of him. This guy needs to be guarding and would thrive in a place where he can be a Great Pyrenees dog. My home is adequate for a temporary arrangement for him but he needs a job. There will be a rehoming fee based on the distance it takes to get him to his furever home.

She’s a big ol' floof with a heart of gold. I got her from the pound, but I think she's around 9 months, she’s full of energy and curiosity, eager to explore the world around her. She loves to play, especially outdoors, and has a very affectionate nature. She’s only about 60 pounds right now so I don’t think she will get to full breed standard size. Still a puppy, so she has lots of energy and loves outdoor adventures. Needs an owner who can provide firm, consistent training and lots of love. Every vigilant, she tends to bark, so a large yard to roam and protect would be ideal. New owner should be familiar with the breed traits of a Great Pyrenees. They are a strong willed breed.

Story
This sweet boy also answers to Atti. Senior dog, rescued 11 years ago. They estimated his age to be around 5 at the time, but my guess is that he was younger than estimated. Ideally no or minimal stairs for his joints but does enjoy a walk.Temperament is very loving, chill, and sweet most of the time. He loves to sleep and be close to his person.Has lived with cats, done fine with them, but also loves to try to play with them. Has not lived with kids but has been friendly to kids when coming across them. When he sees dogs outside, his first tendency is to bark. He's not aggressive but if the other dog is aggressive, he may act in a defensive manner. If the other dog is super chill, he is also super chill. He can be afraid of men, especially when they come into his living space and he can bark and growl. However, he has been observed to eventually adjust to certain men and calm down. He has also stayed with a petsitter and her husband and he did great with them in their home.
