Adopt Moose! 🐾
Moose is an adorable 2yr old Shih Tzu mix. He's a sweet, happy little guy with a heart that's ready for a fresh start. Although his past wasn't kind to him, he's looking ahead to a future filled with love, patience, and security.
When Moose was found abandoned, his coat was so severely matted it was tangled tightly against his skin. It was heartbreaking to see the neglect he had endured, but despite everything, Moose hasn't let his past define him. He has a gentle spirit and is ready to trust the right family.
Moose enjoys meeting new people and gets along well with other dogs and cats. While he'd be happy to have a canine companion, he'd also thrive as your one and only, soaking up all the love and attention.
He's potty trained, loves his daily walks, and rarely passes up the chance to carry around a squeaky toy. Moose is incredibly food motivated, making him eager to learn, and he's already mastering commands like "sit." At the end of the day, his favorite place is curled up beside you on the couch, enjoying all the snuggles he can get.
Because of the neglect he experienced, Moose can occasionally be sensitive to touch if he's startled or feeling unsure. He is looking for a patient, experienced, adult-only home that understands he may need a little extra time to build confidence and continue learning that he's finally safe.
