Psssst… hey you. Yes, YOU. I’ve got something important to tell you. My name is Kirby, and I’m an adorable 7-year-old, 9-pound Morkie boy who looks like a stuffed animal come to life! I just arrived at Florida Coastal Cocker Rescue and I’m looking for my forever home. I'm kind of a lap dog. Okay, TOTALLY a lap dog. I love being close to my person, giving kisses, and just… hanging out together. I'm chill, affectionate, and I make an excellent couch companion. My foster mom says I mind her really well, which — yes, I do, because I'm a good boy and I know it. Now, full transparency: I'm still working on my housetraining and leash manners. I know, I know. But with a little patience and consistency, I'm going to be an absolute star. I also have a teensy talent for escaping, so a secure yard would be ideal, and my new family should be vigilant about open doors and consider an AirTag for extra peace of mind. Think of it as loving me safely! I get along well with other dogs, and I'd likely do great with dog-savvy kids 12 and up. Story
Marley is well loved and very sweet Maltese. He loves to snuggle with my husband in the recliner in the evenings and gets excited when he comes home. He gets along well with our two other dogs and our young grandchildren. Marley is neutered, up to date on all of his shots (his last vet exam was in December). He is in great health.We believe Marley may be 11 years old. He has never snipped or growled. He also has not ever chewed any household items. He can have accidents so he requires to be let out often.Unfortunately, we need to rehome Marley and our other two little loves due to some significant health issues of a family member. It breaks our hearts to have to rehome our sweet pups, but it is what is best for our family and Marley.
