Story
Crouton/aka Louis is adorable, but has his quirks. While he is tolerant of others in the household, he is definitely a one-person dog. At times he can become overprotective and may growl at others who get too close to his chosen one. However, he has never bitten any other human or animal. This is an energetic dog who loves routine. Part of that routine is going on walks. He walks well on a slip-lead leash and will heel well. That is until he sees another dog or squirrel and then it is time to bark! He can be redirected by turning around and he has been to numerous training sessions to improve his socialization with other dogs. While he has historically gotten along with a few other dogs, he might do best in a one dog home or at least a home with another calm well-balanced pet. Because he is so energetic, keeping up with his focused leash walks, and maintaining his training will help Crouton, as well his medication routine, which can be adjusted as necessary with a vet recommendation. He has been on Vet-prescribed fluoxetine, (prozac) 10mg daily, he takes easily with a morning treat. It has definitely helped, but it is not a magic pill. Crouton is cuddly and makes a great lap dog with his favorite human. He likes to be petted, but not on his head. He will growl if petting time is over and will usually jump down to lie on his bed in his crate for a nap. Crouton would make a fantastic pet for someone experienced with an energetic pet, who has a fenced-in yard for him to run and play fetch. Crouton is neutered, weighs 10#, is vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm and flea medications. His adoption fee is $400.

Mr. Peabody is a good little dude.😅 He was pulled from an overcrowded shelter with a rotten mouth and and un-altered. Peabody has been a very good boy in his foster home. He gets al9ng well with dogs is mostly potty trained and very sweet. His age is truely unknown but we suspect somewhere between 8-10 yrs old. This guy also does well on leash, loves to eat and roll around in the grass🤣

Muffin is the sweetest little girl! 🐾❤️ She absolutely loves people and is gaining more confidence every day when playing with other dogs. Her potty training is going really well, and she is well on her way to becoming a very well-mannered young lady. Muffin is a lovely little puppy who would do well in just about any home. Some dogs are happiest with a canine companion, while others are happiest being their person’s one and only. Muffin is definitely a “people dog.” She loves her humans and would make a wonderful only dog. That said, she does well with other dogs, too! My dogs love her, and she enjoys playing with them. She’s just the kind of little girl who really wants to be close to her person and soak up all the love she can get. 💕🐶 Muffin is ready to find her forever family! She will need a fully fenced-in area to run. I wouldn't be surprised to learn she is younger than we think. She runs my boys ragged and is excited every morning to take on the day! I also believe she has some Shih Tzu in her. Muffin needs to stay in the Indianapolis, Indiana area.
