Meet Henry, a handsome 12-year-old Maltese gentleman weighing in at a cuddly 13 pounds. Henry is being fostered in Versailles, KY. Don’t let his age fool you—Henry still has plenty of pep in his step and a heart overflowing with love to give. For more information email the foster at CTWard@aol.com Henry came to rescue from a loving home where he was cherished and well cared for. When family circumstances changed, his owner made the difficult decision to help him find the calm, stable home he deserves for his golden years. This sweet boy is everything people love about senior dogs. He’s affectionate, gentle, and happiest when he’s close to his people. Henry will gladly follow you from room to room, keeping you company throughout the day before settling in for one of his favorite activities—a cozy nap. He walks nicely on a leash, rides well in the car, and gets along beautifully with both people and other pets. While Henry enjoys his naps, he certainly hasn’t retired from life. He still has a playful spark and a joyful spirit that make him much younger than his years. His foster family says he doesn’t act like an old dog at all! Henry is mostly house trained but does best with frequent potty breaks and a family who pays attention to his cues. Like many food-loving pups, he appreciates dining separately from other pets. He can be vocal when left alone, so he’d be happiest in a home where someone is around much of the time to enjoy his loyal companionship. Henry is up to date on all of his veterinary care and ready to begin his next chapter. If you’re looking for a devoted best friend, a faithful shadow, and a loving companion to share life’s quieter moments, Henry may be the perfect match. This wonderful little gentleman is ready to spend his golden years being cherished by a family of his very own. Could that family be yours?
