Story
Hi. HELLO. HI AGAIN. IT’S ME. TINY.Yes, Tiny like “small dog.” But please do not be fooled by the name because while my body is small, I has a BIG personality to make up for it. I am approximately 97% pure chaos and joy and the other 3% is… also chaos.I am a young Maltese mix with a body that could fit in a tote bag and a personality that cannot be contained by laws, physics, or silence. I wake up ready. Ready for walks. Ready for snacks. Ready to tell you about everything that has ever happened and will ever happen. I have opinions. I have commentary. I have inside thoughts that WILL be outside thoughts.I am VERY high energy. Like, if you are a “casual stroll” person, we are not the same. I need an adopter who wants to move, play, train, enrich, repeat, and then do it again but faster. If my brain and body aren’t busy, I will simply invent activities and/or scream about it. Honestly, fair.I love people. New people are sometimes a tiny bit scary for half a second, but if you have treats? Congratulations, we are best friends, I will sit, shake, spin, accept pets, and tell you my life story. I am extremely food motivated. Food is my religion. Snacks are my love language. I eat like I’m in a competitive sport and would benefit from slowing things down a bit (with a slow feeder) because WOW I am enthusiastic.Walks are my favorite thing ever and I take them VERY seriously. I am a forward-thinking dog. A momentum dog. A “why walk when you can LAUNCH” dog. I do best when I`m wearing a harness so I can focus on having the time of my life instead of just dragging you into the future.I am affectionate. I enjoy toys (chasing is fun!), love treats more than anything, and would probably enjoy a confident dog friend who doesn’t mind my enthusiasm and wants to play.I am crate trained, though sometimes being alone is hard—mostly when I haven’t burned off my energy first. A tired Tiny is a good Tiny. A bored Tiny is…not the best version of herself. Did I mention I’m talkative? I am extremely talkative. About walks. About food. About strangers. About nothing. Apartment living is possible, but only if you are committed to meeting my exercise and enrichment needs and accepting that I will absolutely use my voice.I will need regular grooming, consistent activity, mental games, training, and an adopter who thinks a small dog with a big personality sounds like the best thing ever.I may be tiny……but my energy
