Story
SPECIAL NEEDS KITTY PLEASE READ BEFORE APPLYING We have discovered that Stella has some dental issues and it is our understanding from our vet that dental procedures will be needed every 6-12months for her lifespan.  These procedures can cost anywhere from $600-1500 dollar depending on the vet and number of extractions needed.  We understand this is a big commitment on top of her breed specific needs such as regular visits to the groomer, but we are confident that her forever home is out there. Stella is a very sweet and playful but she can also be shy.  She likes batting around and playing with her spring toys, but more than anything she enjoys a nice comfy spot to nap!  She prefers to keep all 4 paws on the ground but does love pets and attention from all her human friends at the rescue.  She would do well with another low-key kitty like her!  She does get her feelings hurt easily when a new kitty arrives and doesn’t love her instantly…she just doesn’t understand how all her human friends can fuss over her so much but her kitty friends just don’t seem impressed!  A nice quiet home with no dogs is what Stella tells us she would like to find. With her long fur she will require daily brushing and frequent trips to the groomers.  We are looking for a family with breed experience and a family that is willing to take care of all of her ongoing medical issues.  If you believe you might be a fit for Stella please be sure to FULLY complete an application online and provide details as to why you think you might be a match! It’s like our very own dating show STELLA version!  Please note that we are looking for the best match for her and this is not a first come first serve basis.  We will be taking our time to process all applications to find the best fit for her needs.
