Story
Hello. I've taken in a cat that began showing up on the front porch.I don't live on my own and it would be best to give her to a permanent stable home.I never officially gave her a name, while she does know words but not a name. You may give her a name.I will give all supplies and blankets she uses etc. She needs to be in a stable home without noise, chaos, or future life changes. No young kids, and all people in house need to be gentle around her.No other pets unless in a cage or bowl.An individual, couple, or older kids would be best. She hisses at animals but doesn't fight. She mostly sleeps with some daily outdoor time on front porch, backyard or in a window. She likes to sleep next to you on the couch or under a table. She doesn't like vacumns or bad weather, hides under basement steps with light on during heavy rain or storms. Likes music and lights on bad weather days. Music every time you are leaving the house. Lights on if you'll be home after dark.

Ella is a beautiful young soul and a heart that's just beginning to bloom. She may be a little shy when first meeting new people, but it doesn't take long for her to warm up-once she does, she becomes incredibly sweet, affectionate and loving. She came from a difficult hoarding/breeding situation and was in pretty rough shape when rescued. Thanks to proper care and plenty of love, she is now thriving in her foster home and is ready to find the forever home she truly deserves. Because of her sensitive nature, Ella will thrive in a calm, quiet, patient environment. She would do best in a household with no dogs or small children. Ella needs to be adopted with her sibling or another calm cat. If you are ready to open your heart to a very special girl who just needs a little time to shine Ella could be the perfect edition to you family All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. Story
Loretta Lynn — The Quiet Girl Who Learned to Hope Again Loretta Lynn didn't grow up knowing safety. She didn't grow up knowing gentle hands or soft voices or warm places to sleep. She came from a chaotic hoarding situation—a place filled with noise, fear, and too many animals competing for too little care. For a timid girl like her, it was overwhelming. She learned to make herself small, quiet, and invisible. But everything changed the day she was rescued. Loretta arrived in her foster home in May, trembling and unsure, carrying the weight of her past in every cautious step. She didn't know what to expect, but she was finally given something she had never had before: time. Time to decompress. Time to breathe. Time to simply exist without fear. Slowly, she began to bloom. Loretta Lynn found comfort in the quiet upstairs room—her sanctuary. A cat tree, toys, food, a high-sided litter box, and a window overlooking the world she wasn't ready to explore yet. She slept there, watched birds there, and learned that peace was possible. Eventually, she ventured farther. She discovered the master bedroom. She discovered the balcony overlooking 10 acres and a lake, where she would sit and let the breeze ruffle her long Maine Coon fur. She was still timid, still cautious—but she was curious, too. And curiosity is the first sign of healing. Loretta lives among many foster cats, resident cats, and three dogs: a Saint Bernard, a Pomsky, and a Maltipoo. She has made her feelings clear. Dogs: She prefers to keep her distance. Respectful dogs are fine, but she will not engage. Cats: She loves them. She thrives with them. She seeks their company and their comfort. Other cats help her feel safe. They help her feel brave. They help her feel like she belongs. Loretta Lynn's DNA test revealed what her foster already knew. She is 65% Maine Coon, with the beauty, softness, and gentle temperament of the breed. Her long fur, her expressive eyes, and her quiet intelligence—it's all there. She is estimated to be 12 years old, still young enough to grow, learn, and bond deeply with her person. Loretta Lynn is not a cat for chaos. She is not a cat for loud homes or fast introductions. She is a cat for someone who understands that trust is earned slowly and beautifully. She would thrive with: - A quiet home - A single person or established couple - Other cat companions - Someone patient, gentle, and willing to let her unfold at her own pace She does love to be petted. She does want to trust. She does want to belong. She just needs someone who will give her the stability she never had. Loretta Lynn is a timid girl, yes—but she is also a survivor. She is soft, sweet, and full of quiet hope. She is ready to leave her past behind and step into a life where she is cherished, protected, and understood. If you can find it in your heart to open your home to this beautiful girl, she will give you something rare: the kind of love that grows slowly, deeply, and forever. Please submit your application if Loretta Lynn's story speaks to you. Story
Tammy is a beautiful young girl with a very gentle sweet side. She is looking for a quiet, loving home to call her own. She needs to go with her sibling Ella or to a home with another gentle cat. She came to us from a hoarding/breeding situation. Tammy was severely neglected , underweight, frail and had pouring diarrhea. She is now healthy, gaining strength and confidence everyday with care and patience from her foster mom. Tammy has a sweet and gentle personality, though she can be a bit shy when first meeting new people. Once she feels safe her affectionate side really begins to shine. She would do best in a calm environment with a patient adopter who will give her the time she needs to settle in and blossom. Because she prefers a peaceful setting. Tammy is not a good match for homes with small children or dogs. She would thrive with someone who understands her sensitive nature and can offer her a quiet space and lots of love, If you are looking for a gentle companion and are willing to give Tammy the time and love she deserves, she could be the perfect addition to your home. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. Story
Meet Julian! Name: Julian Breed: Ragamuffin (purebred) Age: 10 years old (A distinguished mature gentleman) Energy Level: Low—Enjoys lounging, napping, and gentle companionship Ideal Home: Must be the only pet. Hello there, my name is Julian. For the past decade, I have been the loyal, single-owner companion to my favorite human. Due to a major life change, I am now looking for a peaceful new home, where I can spend my time doing what I do best: being a loving, devoted shadow. As a true purebred Ragamuffin, I am incredibly mellow and sweet-natured. I am happiest curling up next to you while you read, watching birds from a quiet window, or keeping your lap warm during a movie. Because I have spent my whole life as an "only child," I am very sensitive to loud noises and busy environments. I am looking for a sanctuary free from the hustle and bustle of young children or other animals. Julian’s Checklist for the Perfect Home: • Loving Home: I demand cuddles! • No Other Pets

Story
Jack is an amazing, special orange guy who we love dearly. He came to us a year ago from an abusive situation. When we offered to foster him, we were unaware of the severity of his trauma, including his fear of large dogs. We have spent the whole last year attempting to safely introduce him to our large dogs, but Jack never was able to acclimate. Though not best friends, Jack is safe with other cats and is great with kids. He loves to play, has the energy of a kitten, and cuddles under the covers with the humans he loves most. I am his mom and this is heart breaking for me, but he deserves a home of his own where he feels safe and free. We will take care of him until we find the right home and we will always take him back if necessary.

Story
Preston is a very social cat, he loves to greet you at the door and move rooms with you. He sleeps during the day, plays with all kinds of toys and likes to watch wildlife from the windows. Preston is food motivated, he will not miss a meal and may eat extra if available. A real life Garfield he is serious about getting his meals on time. Preston would do great with a dog as he has lots of energy and loves to play. He can be overbearing for other cats and it would be best to have no other cats in the home. Maybe if your cat is looking for another cat to tussle with, however Preston would do better to not bully another cat. He had all of his shots as he lived in Italy but now he is ready for a new round of everything. He was flea treated on March 2. No medical history and is a healthy 15lbs. He was found in 2019 as a stray kitten in Georgia and has been with the same family since. Preston is a sweet cat, he will cuddle and accept affection. He loves kids.
