You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Adoption Fee: NO FEE Chloe is a sweet senior Maltese (10+ years young!) who is starting to experience some vision & hearing loss. She can be a little particular about what she likes and appreciates gentle, respectful handling as she gets to know you. While she isn’t a typical “lap dog,” she enjoys her space and a calm environment where she can feel safe and comfortable. Chloe will be receiving a dental cleaning soon, which may include the removal of some teeth, but we’re hopeful this will help her feel her best. She’s looking for a quiet, peaceful home—ideally without children—where she can relax and enjoy her golden years. With the right match, Chloe will be a wonderful companion for someone who understands and appreciates a more independent, senior pup. New foster dogs need time to feel safe. They may be skittish or fearful, so always stay with them outside—even in fenced yards. Ensure collars and leashes fit securely to prevent escapes. Your gentle presence and protection help them feel loved and secure. The adoption fee helps allow Perfect Paws to provide all animals with current, age appropriate vaccinations which include, DHLPP, Kennel Cough and Rabies (if the pet is at least 13 weeks old), and spay/neuter when necessary.  The fee also helps with the cost of deworming; heartworm testing (if the pet is at least 1 year old), heartworm prevention as well as flea and tick prevention for animals cared for through the rescue. He will go home with a collar, leash, and vaccination record. Purebred Maltese. Born. 10/6/22 Lilly was a former breeder dog who was released because she was retired. Cats, kids and other dogs are fine with her. Super happy and well Socialized dog. Crate trained and doggy door trained. Jumps on the Couch like She owns it. Very good dog! Tori is friends with everyone. Leash skills need a little Work but she has the basics down. Vet care. Spayed, H w tested neg with prev. Frontlined. Rabies. Parvo distemper vac. 30 days h w prev. Chipped. Dental Vet did note grade 2 patella on left side. No issues. It’s a little dog thing, please google If needed. She gets around just fine. You would never know. She is good to go now! All vet paperwork goes with her. Fiona will be 9 in October 2026. She needs a person or couple who do not have super busy schedules and like to have a lap dog that enjoys cuddling. She lives with a toddler but she has had to get used to him. She does bark at strangers and is very protective of who she lives with. She is still very agile and jumps high. She has some anxiety when people leave and is in a crate while we work. Her anxiety can be alot so she really needs a home in which people can take her on the go or do not leave for hours at a time.
