Story
🐢 Meet Turdle: Ready for a New Beginning (But He Chooses His Friends) Turdle is a resilient and adorable 6-year-old Maltese mix weighing 7 lbs, who is bravely seeking a quiet, patient home. He came to us as a stray in terrible condition, completely matted. Now shaved down, healthy, and safe, he is ready for the fresh start he deserves! Due to his unknown past, Turdle takes his time getting to know you. He's not nervous, just a little selective and picky about who he allows into his inner circle. This means his first time meeting you may be a little rough, and he needs an extremely patient adopter who respects his space. Slow, quiet introductions are paramount for Turdle to feel comfortable and start building trust. He typically does best with women over men. Turdle's Ideal Home: Patience is Key: Needs an experienced and extremely patient adult owner who understands the value of slow introductions. Must be an adult-only home (no children). Must be free of cats. Bonus: He is very dog-friendly! Once he trusts you, Turdle promises to be your devoted little companion—adoring you, soaking up belly rubs, and returning your love tenfold. Open your heart to this tiny, deserving boy and show him the safe, happy life he's been waiting for!
