🐾 SKYLAR is a brand new owner surrender who could no longer care for her after having a new baby in the home. She's just a year old and so far seems like a super sweet dog. High energy, housetrained, crate-trained, and loves chew toys and to play with other dogs. She does seem like a very "vocal" dog and not a big fan of the crate, so might do better in a non-apartment setting. She takes a min to warm up to new people, especially guys, but with some patience, she's already doing great with her foster's male friend. We'll report back soon with more first-hand info and pics from her foster. We've got her vetted to age now except her spay which is included at our vet in her adoption fee ASAP. 👉 Adoption fee INCLUDES: all vetting to age (including deworming, flea & tick etc), spay/neuter and microchip (if the dog is under 6 months, alter and chip will occur after they're 6 months, covered in full at our clinic or reimbursed partially at a vet of your choosing). If the dog is older than 6 months and not yet altered, we will schedule ASAP (normally within 30 days) at our clinic . We also provide as an incentive a $60 rebate for completion of positive-based training classes. We are not a shelter and are completely volunteer foster-based, so there is no central place to come see all of the dogs available. 📌 IMPORTANT NOTES: ** Housetraining with rescues is sometimes a work in progress and even if a dog is 100% in a foster's home, it should be expected there will be an adjustment period as a dog adapts to a new environment. This is even more true if the dog has not by chance had their altering appointment at time of adoption. ** Also, we highly recommend some form of 2-week shutdown and decompression for dogs going to a new home for best results. --> Lastly, breed guesses in rescue are just that (GUESSES!!) 99.9% of the time. We do not do DNA testing and our breed guesses are based on appearance and sometimes other traits, but we know the dog breed guessing game is a fool's errand even for those with LOTS of experience. 🗺 ADOPTION AREA: several hour radius of Rochester, NY (Canada within 3 hours IS allowed, except that young puppies need to be old enough to have gotten their rabies vaccination to cross the border - usually around 16 weeks)

Story
Billee is a sweet, loving, gentle little girl...definitely a “lap dog”. She loves people, eager to please, learns quickly and her beautiful wagging tail shows her happiness. Billee was 2 on 2/11/26; chipped, weighs10 pounds. She loves to go on walks. Billee loves you to play tug/toss her toys and loves playing with my grandchildren/granddogs. She sleeps in her crate only at night; can be trusted alone when I'm out. She is not a "barker". She sits/shakes both paws/down.She loves to lay in the sunlight by the window watching the world go by. I had August surgery with complications/upcoming surgery; I cannot continue giving her the care and time she needs. I want her to find a forever home (within 25 miles of Rochester NY) with a fenced yard (she can run so fast but only as far as my long leash will allow...she has to be on a leash at all times in my 55+ community) with a family who can love her, play with her and be committed to her. I realize I have to give her up for her sake…and mine.

Rebbel is such a chill guy loves treats house trained goes on pee pee pad just to get treats had him and his sister since they were 7 days old bootleg fed them I would love for them to stay together he will be 3 years old sept. 10 he is great with kids

I got her and her brother when they were 7days old bottle feed them both because their mother ran away . She will be 3 yrs old sept.10 and she is a cuddler loves treats and all the attention She a lover it and been just her and her brother I would love to keep them together She is house trained for a pee pee pad but really prefers going outside she is great with kids
