Meet Pepper! She is a spunky little gal born on Dec 4, 2025. She can sit, comes to her name, and goes potty outside. She has a silky maltese-like coat. I brush her and she tolerates it just fine! She is SO cute and sweet. She loves to cuddle, play outside, and has been raised around little chaotic children and handles it just fine. I would keep her but my other dog is having all sorts of behavioral issues since she came to live with us in Feb. I want her to have a happy loving home.

Welcome to the Small Paws Rescue Puppies for Griever's program. Whenever we have puppies, which is not often, we save them for people who are grieving the loss of a pet or a person in their life in the last 6 months. Those people will be considered first for adoption. Meet Sailor and Smidgen. This adorable litter of Bichon mix puppies are looking for their forever homes! Raised with love in a foster home, these pups are playful, affectionate, and already learning what it means to be part of a family. Each one has their own sweet personality shining through, but they all share that classic Small Paws® charm — soft, fluffy coats, big dark eyes, and a whole lot of love to give. They've been well socialized, are growing up happy and healthy, and are ready to bring joy (and probably a little mischief) into a lucky home. The puppies will be ready for their forever homes very soon. The successful adoptive home needs to have a small, young, friendly dog already be living in the home. They will also need a securely fenced yard. There are no exceptions. If you are interested in adopting Sailor or Smidgen, please submit an application so we can determine if you are a good match. Please have a second choice in case your first-choice puppy is already taken. Applications without a named puppy choice will not be considered. The puppies are located in MI.
