I was happy to have my sister with me, but so sad that she's passed away. You see our person, also, passed away and no one in the family wanted us so we were whisked off to the loud county shelter. I huddled together, with my sister, trying to act brave, but in truth I was scared to death. Then a friendly face appeared to take me to a place with lots of other dogs my size. I'm fine with other small dogs. I've been through a lot for 14 years old, but I'm hopefully that someone wants a sweet, tiny girl like me.

I’m Missy Zelda — nine pounds of fluff, feelings, and fierce loyalty. At nine years young, I’ve mastered the fine art of companionship. My previous parents loved me very much, but they had to move into a nursing home, and now I’m bravely searching for my next forever lap. I promise I come with excellent references in snuggling, listening, and looking adorable while doing absolutely nothing. My hobbies include: Being held like the tiny royalty I am Following you from room to room (purely for supervision purposes) Resting my chin on your arm while you work Stroller rides where I can wave to my fans Becoming your very best friend in approximately 4.7 seconds Oh — and I’m fully potty trained because I’m a lady. ‍&#226&#153&#128&#239&#184&#143 No puppy chaos here. No chewed shoes. No surprise puddles. Just sweet, steady love and lots of soft sighs while I nap beside you.  I may be nine, but that just means I’m in my “perfectly seasoned and emotionally available” era. I’ve already lost one home through no fault of my own — I’m hoping my next one is forever-ever.  If you have a cozy spot on your couch and an open spot in your heart, I’m ready to fill both.
