Story
Remi is a 8 yr old neutered male maltipoo weighing 8 lbs. We adopted Remi for our 10 year old, but after a blissful first day … An adult picked up Remi (he is sooo pickup-able), and put him on the child’s lap. A quick yip and nip on the child’s lip, leaving 2 small scratches. A bite… No further aggression toward people. He is aggressive toward other dogs, and (aspirationally) toward squirrels. In the week that we’ve cared for him, he has not been a mean dog. He is energetic, loves to cuddle and be around people. No toileting accidents, does not chew on stuff. Not aggressive toward strangers entering house, and will let you know when someone is at the door. He sleeps in a crate, and stays in the crate when we all go out. Very calm when crated. He goes fine in a car, settles in. After the bite, we are really nervous about interactions with children (young grandchildren are around here all the time.) Will pass along crate, blanket and etc. He had a 1 yr rabies shot Feb 26th
