Story
My name is Nico. I am 8 years old and am looking for a family to love me. I spend most of my day cuddled up in my bed waiting for my people to come home. I get excited when people come to the house and want everyone to know it so I bark to tell them. I calm down quickly tho and go back to laying down as soon as I alert everybody. I love to cuddle with my brother Cooper who is also looking to be adopted. It would be fantastic if we could go together but I’m also ready to be without him if I have to be. I am house trained but I have been wearing a belly band recently because I occasionally have pee accidents when I get excited. I love to cuddle, run around in the house, and make new friends. Please inquire about me.

Story
Hi I’m Cooper. I am 14 years old but don’t let my age fool you. I am still active and full of love. I love to cuddle and hang out with my people in between naps. I have a Maltipoo brother that is also up for adoption (Nico). While I would love to stay with him, I’m adaptable and would do ok without him too. I like children and other animals. I am crate trained. I am potty trained (although my mom keeps my in a belly band just in case because I’m getting older). I would love to meet you!

We received this timid girl from a hoarding case where she received absolutely no human interaction. She is extremely shy and will take weeks-months to come around and trust you. She is not your typical companion. She needs a very patient home that will continue to work with her emotional needs. We believe she is a miniature poodle weighing around 25-30 pounds full grown. She has showed so much potential in her experienced foster home and continues to be a wonderful companion. Here is what her foster has to say …. Hi! My name is Sweetie Pie and Candy Girl. My foster is letting me pick my own name. I give quick looks of acknowledgement when either of those are used. I don’t trust people; I have really never been exposed to them. My ideal home would have at least a 6-foot fence (I got serious hops for my size). I would love to have another easy going K9! Size doesn’t matter my foster Nana has a miniature pinscher (10 yrs old), Doberman pinscher (8), Frenchie (2) and a demon cat (more about her later). My favorite is the Doberman she sleeps in the crate with me when I am not in my bed on the bed. I prefer to eat in my crate. If kept too long (like on church days) I might potty in my crate if fed before Nana goes to sit with the Jesus crew. Normally I will potty on the potty pads. I will go outside to potty, but because I have a hard time trusting I will hide! I am exceptionally great at hide and seek. I will look at you searching for me and not say a word! I don’t mind being in a crate but a gated room not so much. I will jump it or hurt myself trying to escape. I am as sweet as pie! I was never groomed but I let Nana shave all the mats off me and clip my toenails. When it is bath time you and I will be getting bathed at the same time….lol. Yep, I will cling to you. Now I have not a care in the world about cats, but demon cat does not care for me! If you have the time and patience, I am your candy girl! If you are retired or work from home, I will be your best friend. Oh, I love PJs! They are like a permanent hug! Story
Brie came from North Carolina with her two puppies. Sadly, all three dogs were part of a 40+ dog hoarding case where they were severely neglected. By the time help came, Brie had lost one of her puppies leaving her with only two to raise. Now that the puppies are weaned, Brie is ready for her own story. A story that allows her to be the center of attention and doted on by her new human. She is a diva, so she very much enjoys the attention. She will co-exist with the other dogs as long as the new family understands how to properly introduce her. She is nervous around larger dogs but doesn't make a fuss. She has not been tested with cats, but if they ignore her, she will ignore them. Brie is 6-7 pounds fully grown. We believe she is Maltese/yorkie mix of some kind. She will make a wonderful pocket-sized companion if you're looking for something to keep you company.
