We adopt out to homes around WA state & Oregon but require that you are present for the meet and greet in Newcastle, WA. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable. The adoption fee is due on the day of adoption in the form of a check, Zelle, PayPal, if using PayPal the potential adopter will have to pay the fees & charges with PayPal. Talk about another situation of right time & right place. In an extremely busy well known area of back streets in China, Sean was found abandoned & extremely skinny. Where he was found he was lucky to be alive & not swooped up & killed or eaten. It was evident that he was mistreated but wanted help & to get off the brutal streets & went with the rescuers to get help. Now Sean is looking for a special family to cherish him & be patient with him & remember what this beautiful soul has been through & a family that meets all his needs. Sean was rescued by our truly amazing Chinese rescue friends & just as always we are beyond grateful to the Chinese rescue who we are so extremely thankful for what they do day in & day out for these babies, we cannot thank them enough. Sean was bought back to the USA where he is now a US citizen & is so happy to be here & can’t wait to find his new loving devoted forever home. Our beautiful boy is not the boy we first rescued, his lovely personality has now come out & he is flourishing. He was so uncertain at first as it was so very clear humans had let him down. Sean is a gentle soul & his beautiful personality has started to flourish. He is a very gentle patient little soul. He just wants you to love him & he will love you back. He adores being hugged & held because the reality is we are the first real people in his life to show him such true love & affection. He also can be found laying on his foster mums feet or near her while in the kitchen. His foster mum taught him a way to come with moving her hands together & he now runs up to her for her to pick him up & cuddle him. He loves it when she cuddles him & snuggles into him & kisses him. When he finds people who love him they become his world. He is a very soft gentle soul & timid until he knows you. He is smart though & can run up & down hardwood stairs. He will also want to cuddle in bed with you. After his foster mum picking him up & putting him on the bed he now runs & jumps on the bed & knows when it is time to go to bed. He has just started to run & play with his foster siblings & must go to a home with a young dog who will play with him when he is ready. He loves a good outfit & will get ready for you to put one on him. Sean eats a clean diet, meaning raw fruits, raw vegetables, 70 % raw proteins, grains, fats & supplements. He also enjoys collagen sticks & bully sticks. All of his treats are homemade. When we first rescued him he was extremely thin it was so very sad to us, but we have already put several pounds on this adorable little chap. Sean has been taught to walk on harness & leash & has been doing wonderful. He would need continued work walking on his harness & leash. Sean is a rescue & will need patience, time & understanding. Sean adores being pampered & doesn’t want you to stop when brushing him, cleaning his eyes, grooming him, baths, the hairdryer he loves it all. He also does extremely well being touched in general & adores receiving love. Having toys & a warm bed is all new to Sean & we have been excited to change his world with the introduction of toys & lots of love & affection & a loving environment. He now enjoys his toys in his foster home. Sean has learnt to ride in the car & does well in the car & enjoys a good car ride. He is such an amazing, loving little lad. With Sean we are only looking for a crate free home for this lovely little lad only. Please do not apply with the intent to crate this boy. He does not like crates especially after everything he has been through. We are also looking for a forever home for Sean where someone is home during the day or Sean can go with his people wherever possibly he can go with them. Sean is looking for a forever home who will cherish him & love him as he should be loved & be very patient with him & understanding. Sean has been around many breeds of dogs all shapes & sizes & he is currently with other dogs & enjoys their company in his loving foster home. He can be found at times snuggled up to his foster siblings. A fully fenced backyard is mandatory for Sean’s new forever home if it’s a free standing home. Sean is now roughly 9lbs & almost 3 years old & possibly a maltipoo & what he is mixed with we are not sure? He is microchipped, up to date on his shots including DHLPP, rabies & dewormed. Once these shots expire we will not redo them except rabies as we will not over vaccinate our beloved dogs. We have spent over $2000 on Sean with bringing him to the US with his travel airfare paying for his medical care, including, shots, neuter microchip etc, than his adoption fee comes close to covering. Sean has not been around cats since being in the rescue but it’s always up to the new family to be responsible with their animals. We have not had Sean with small children so we do not recommend children, but it’s always up to the family to be responsible with their children & animals. We were not there when Sean was conceived so we do not know who his parents were & it’s always up to the new potential family to look at the pictures & decide what they think his breed is. As with all of our rescues & Sean’s friends he will need work on potty training & training, so this should be something the new family would be willing to work on & commit to. Please do not submit an application if you are not willing to commit to one of our rescues care for their whole life & that includes if they need training. Please do not email us asking is Sean potty trained or available, nor do we ship dogs anywhere as we will not respond. We would never say anyone of our rescues are potty trained. Our rescues need homes where the people are understanding of their past & what they have been through & what they will need in their daily lives & not willing to give up on them & if they do need training in their new home will in fact take them to training & not just say they will when applying. JuanJuan ended up in a shelter with 1000 dogs & our rescuer rescued her from there. How she ended up there we will never know? Without this beloved rescuer going in & getting JuanJuan out, she most definitely would of lived her life there just living on rice & nothing else. But we do want to say the lady looking after the dogs there does an amazing job. To feed the dogs a month it’s $5,000 just for the rice. JuanJuan ended up finding a loving home through the rescue & had her home for quite awhile. The home ended up having a child & she did amazing & was very loved. Unfortunately the little boy had become very allergic to JuanJuan & breaking out. The family tried everything as they did not want to give JuanJuan back but it come to the point where they decided they had to with both parties agreement. We were asked could we help this angel. We believe every sweet soul such as JuanJuan & her friends deserves to be loved & cherished & given the chance to have a wonderful life. Now JuanJuan is looking for a special family to cherish her & be patient with her & remember what this beautiful soul has been through & a family that meets all his needs. She is a really smart girl too because on the day of arrival in her foster home she taught herself to run up hardwood stairs & follow her foster mum around. She is absolutely obsessed with her foster mum & loves her foster dad to but her foster mum is her world. She also has some separation anxiety from her foster mum & did have some in China too.
