Story
Ernie is a three year old Maltipoo. He is quite a dapper fellow with one blue eye and one black! We were not expecting to have another child and now we have a particularly large family and cannot give them the attention and care that he needs we are also not expecting the higher grooming cost of the breed. Ernie is a sweet dog. Like many small dogs, he does bark more than we are used to (having bigger dogs in the past). We have not had many encounters with other dogs with him, but one encounter has gone well with a bigger dog. He was able to get along with the other dog on multiple occasions. He has been pretty sweet with the kids of different ages. He was nervous when my infant was younger than four months but past that point he became comforable with his presence. He is mostly crate trained, whining at times but also appreciating the routine of the day and going in the crate willingly at night and during the day when out of the house.
