Story
I'm a special girl - the total package, you might say. I'm young enough to keep up on adventures and grown-up enough to have my manners down pat. I walk nicely on a leash, I know how to “sit,” and I take treats gently like the polite lady I am. I’m full of love and happiest when I’m with my people. I’m always up for a good game of tug, but I can also entertain myself with a toy while you kick back and relax. Sometimes I get extra silly and parade my toy around before rolling in the grass like the goofball I secretly am. Rawhides and bones? Yes, please. I’ll happily chew next to you, and if there’s a bench nearby, you can bet I’m hopping up to snuggle close - kisses included. When it comes to other dogs, I like to take things slow, so I’d be happy to meet any pups you have at home to see if we’ll be buddies. I’m just waiting for a human who wants a best friend by their side, and I can't wait to meet you! A team member says, "Tanya loves nothing more than hanging out with you, whether it's cuddling up close with a chew toy or being silly with a tug toy. She's a big love bug." Another team member says, "Tanya is a sweetie. She loves affection and is a breeze to walk. She's very smart and very treat-motivated, and she seems like she'd pick up any additional training very quickly."
