Meet MARY-KATE OLSEN! She is “twin” to Ashley and sis to Elizabeth, both of which are up for adoption with us! She is a little under 5 months old and 14 lbs as of mid-October. We think she’s a black lab mix: she’s very slender and elegant, and has the cutest button ears! She is super friendly, sweet and active! She loves other dogs and people! Ashley dreams of finding her forever home, preferably with people who will buy her Starbucks puppacinos, and walk her a lot (although she will be hiding behind trees and sign posts from the puparazzi)! ——————————————————————- *PLEASE NOTE: This dog is currently in Puerto Rico.* Once an adopter is fully approved, transport will be arranged to the New York/NJ area. We do adopt out of state, but you must come to pick up. In addition, if you are applying for this dog or any of our pups, you must be open to dog psychology/behavior (Cesar Millan) and fulfilling the needs of the dog. We strive for our dogs to be adopted into the right home. The best fit for the dog is our priority. We ask that you please make sure if interested in a puppy or high energy breed that you are ready for this time consuming/daily endeavor and have patience as this is a long term commitment (could be 15+ years). Please consider your future lifestyle after COVID. Please make sure you are ready to properly exercise and give a dog all it needs for fulfillment. Your ongoing time and day-to-day commitment is the most important thing in caring for a dog. In addition we cannot guarantee breed of any dog or expected adult size of a puppy. **Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea** Meet Leeju👋 She was found on the street in South Korea at just 2 months old and sent to a high-risk city shelter along with her four siblings. Luckily, she was rescued right before euthanasia by the rescue team and sent to her foster home 2 months later. Her foster family has been taking good care of her since, and she’s been living peacefully with the resident dog. LeeJu is now more than ready for a furever home! > Personality: Friendly, Curious, Cautious LeeJu is such a friendly and lovable pup with a curious and cautious personality. Her energy level is mid-low as she mostly chills in a kennel at home and prefers to have light walkies mainly for the bathroom. > Affinity with - Dogs: Super friendly with other dogs as long as they are not too large or aggressive. She doesn’t respond to barking dogs as well. She currently lives with a resident dog in her foster home, so she will be a good fit for a family with other furry companions. - Cats: Good with cats. - Adults/Kids: Good with both adults & kids. She is calm even when kids pet her. > Walking Manners: Well-mannered! > Housetrained: Fully housebroken, mainly using the bathroom outdoors but sometimes indoors when she can’t go outside. > Bathing/Brushing: Very good. > Car Rides: Not anymore. She got better at car rides. Her foster tries to walk her for potty before jumping into the car. > Separation Anxiety: None. > Barks/Howls: A little bit towards continued noise from outside the house. > Appetite/Food Allergies: She likes any sort of food! / No food allergies. > Likes/Dislikes: She loves being petted on her face while snuggling up to your side! / She feels cold easily due to her short coat. > Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 If you have an open heart and a loving home for Leeju, please don't hesitate to apply!
