Story
Meet Simon. This distinguished gentleman is desperate for a foster or forever home. He is a 3 year old, male, Miniature Pinscher mix. He is struggling at the rescue and really needs a quiet place to decompress. He loves being part of the action and definitely thinks he should be the center of attention. Once he trusts and knows you, he is very confident and affectionate. His ideal home would be adult only. He will thrive in a home with people who understands his breed and enjoys a dog with personality and a little attitude. With structure, consistency, and clear guidance, Simon will be a devoted and entertaining companion. If you are an experienced dog lover looking for a small dog with a big presence, Simon is your guy.  ADOPTION INFORMATION HOW TO GO ABOUT ADOPTING: 1. Come in during adoption hours to apply and fill out an application completely. We have applications on site. Open adoption hours take place at 44 Worthington Road in Cranston, RI. We are open every Wednesday 3-7pm and Saturday 10am-2pm. 2. We require proof of homeownership (tax form, deed, mortgage statement) or landlord approval (a copy of your lease that clearly states you are allowed to have a dog, puppy, cat, or kitten OR written and signed consent from your landlord. 3. We require copies of up to date vet records for any current pets. Helpful reminders: *We do not do same day adoptions. *Please bring the entire family in to meet the animal you are interested in. *We will setup a meet and greet with your dog at a later date. PLEASE do not bring your dog with you when you come in to apply. Personality traits
