May is a young black kitten with a calm, independent personality. She has been raised in a loving home alongside her mother Luna and her sister Miss Fluffy. May is more reserved and likes to do her own thing. She enjoys having her own space, observing everything around her, and coming around on her own terms. She would likely do best with someone who understands and appreciates cats with quieter, more independent personalities. May is especially bonded with her sister Miss Fluffy, and they play and get along very well. Our biggest hope would be to keep them together if possible, as they make a wonderful pair and bring each other comfort. However, we also understand that may not always be realistic, and our priority is finding May a safe, loving, indoor home where she will be cared for patiently and given time to settle in and thrive. The best words to describe May would be independent, observant, curious, and unique.

Story
I got Goji through a friend of a friend who’s cat had a litter. Goji recently turned 3 on April 7th. She is a very sweet girl but is not so sweet towards other cats/pets. Due to personal circumstances, I recently moved back into my parents house where we already have an older cat, Perdita. We’ve kept them separate using baby gates and routine swapping schedules so that neither are strictly confined to one room. However, Goji has managed to slip by a few times and attacked Perdita very violently. Each time worse than the last. I currently can’t afford my own place and it breaks my heart to have to give her up. Goji would do best in a home where she is the only pet, no children, and with an owner who is understanding of her desire to be admired from afar. Goji will often come up for pets, she is very vocal, wants to be by your side, but she definitely runs the show. She is a strictly indoor cat, a very playful and energetic one at that.
