YOU'RE GONNA LOVE CHESTER!
A Manx cross, Chester is another sweet kitty with a very sad story. His mom, who obviously loved him and his siter Clover very much, died two years ago. Her son came, took everything of value, chucked the cats out and left them to fend for themselves. In coyote country yet! Thankfully neighbors Carrie and Clifford stepped up to help and have been feeding them. Hoping to find them a loving home they brought them to us. Now he's waiting patiently at our shelter for his happy new life to begin!
We think Chester is about 4 years old. He's been neutered, wormed, vaccinated and is a very good boy with his litter box. He has a very short tail and looks like a miniature black bear! He's a big boy too, very nearly 13 pounds. A little portion control will be advisable to keep him at a healthy weight. You're going to want this lovable fellow to be with you for many years to come! If you've ever had the good fortune to be owned by a Manx, you'll know what wonderful kitties they are. They get along well with other cats and dogs, but people are their most favorite species, hard though that may be to imagine. They always want to be where you are to observe, advise and participate in whatever is going on. 'What are we doing now?' They're quite talkative too, but in a very welcoming rather than an annoying way. You can be sure they'll be right at the door to greet you, ready to share their day's goings on and listen to yours. Very inexpensive therapy for his $75 adoption fee! If you're confident that you can provide Chester with a loving home that will truly be forever, please fill out an adoption application on our website using this link: https://pawsiitveoutreach.org/adoption-application or call Gina at (480)779-9208. He can't go through the heartbreak of losing his home ever again!
A PLEA FOR BLACK CATS!
Did you know that black cats are the hardest to find good homes for? Though silly superstitions still persist, there's no good reason for that. Black cats just tend to get overlooked when there are more colorful cats around. We think they're the cat's meow, sleek, suave and sophisticated. Not to mention having the best personalities! Please consider giving a wonderful black kitty like Chester the loving home he's been waiting for!
