Story
Look at this beautiful Sky! His stunning green eyes and soft, long fur will draw you in, but his sweet and affectionate demeanor will make you stay. Sky was rescued as a stray cat in rural Vermont after he appeared at his finder's house several days in a row. He was intact, matted, full of ticks, dehydrated, hungry and had ear infections in both ears. After getting neutered, vaccinated, medicated, etc. and spending the past few weeks in foster care, he has blossomed into a playful and loving lap cat. He loves other cats and plays well with the resident cats in his foster home. Sky is very food-motivated and great at figuring out food puzzles. He has no tail at all, not even a stump, but he has had no issues with elimination. The vet guessed he is between one and two years old.
Here's what his foster mom says about him:
He will sit on you every chance he gets and loves to follow you around (right under your feet so watch your step!) He loves to play and chase his foster siblings before they take a break to snuggle.
He's a gentle soul that can get scared a bit easily since he's been through a lot, but a gentle word and a rub on his back will help calm his nerves. He's truly the sweetest boy you'll ever meet and never tries to hit back when he's swatted at by his moody foster sisters.
He loves treats and food time almost as much as he loves to be loved, and gets very excited when it's time to eat. Lots of treats, fun toys, a sibling or three and a warm lap (and a heating pad!) are all this amazing boy needs to be happy.
