She is the sweetest little girl and would make a great addition to your family. Apply today to adopt Roberta! Purrnado... Part tornado, part purr... He is a VERY vocal boy, loves to talk to you -- he has learned to live with other cats and overall does very well. He definitely likes to be around people, has some mild mood swings, and loves his special cushion where he naps the better part of the day. He looks like a bobtail kitty, but we believe that his tail is short due to an injury a long time ago. He does have a puffy nose that we haven't found an explanation for, but definitely gives me some character. He is estimated to be about 6 years old, and has a $100 adoption fee. All cats adopted through our rescue are age appropriately vaccinated including rabies & FVRCP/Feline Leukemia vaccines, dewormed & free of fleas, combo tested (negative unless otherwise noted), microchipped and spayed/neutered before adoptions are finalized. If you would like to adopt, please fill out the application through the link or the website at -www.whiskersofohio.org - please note that the "I'm interested" tab on Petfinder does NOT act as an application, this should only be used for specific questions before committing to an adoption. You will receive an email confirmation when your application goes through. We make no breed guarantees; we are a rescue, not a breeder. Please only apply for a specific kitten if you are committed to adopting! Our workers are all volunteers and it takes time to process applications. We are a registered, volunteer run 501c3 non-profit organization. Free transport is regularly available to Wayne/Holmes County areas! We do have the ability to fly a cat or pair of kittens via Southwest's SWATT program to any location served by Southwest Airlines. It isn't free but has been a great way to transport animals in a timely manner.

Ruti, he’s about 2-3 years old. Short hair, tabby manx with A LOT of personality. He’s fully vetted including vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped. His adoption fee is $100. He loves pets and cuddles but is very dominant so would prefer to be the only cat or to be the first cat in a home and possibly after acclimation, introducing a playful and energetic playmate may be considered. He is extremely vocal and loves wet food. He has a voracious appetite and will literally eat your table scraps (even though he shouldn’t). It’s not without extreme reservation that I’m seeking to rehome him. My resident cats have an established hierarchy and Ruti has been plotting total domination. Smokey is a three year old cat with medium hair length. He was separated from his mother and family at a young age, and adopted to us when he was still fairly little. He has a grey spot on the front of his right eye, but it otherwise doesn't impair his vision or mobility. We are rehoming him as we have recently just had our first child, and we're planning to move out of town soon. Smokey is a very sweet and loving cat, and is very playful! Would recommend that he be adopted to a family that already has a cat for him to play with or otherwise has a lot of experience with cats and who has the time to play with him.

Story
The 4 manx/bobtail kittens were felv/fiv negative,  vaccinated, dewormed and on flea prevention. 3 female and 1 male. Spayed/neutered and micro chipped with Home Again. We got called about another senior in over her head.  Not only can she not afford vet cat but the living conditions are very poor.  We took 4 of the kittens to the vets 2 days ago for vet care.  Yesterday the mother and father cats got spayed/neutered.  Today another male cat neutered.  Tomorrow another male neuter. Now she told him there are 15 more cats/kittens.  She told him only 1 more adult female and 1 kitten female.  Our vet is able to neuter another male tomorrow.  The poor cats/kittens all are flea infested, have worms and ear mites.  We will be working on getting everyone spayed/neutered as fast as we can.  We will get them all treated for fleas, worms and ear mites.  We will be getting them all tested and vaccinated. They are all sweet as they can be.  I little shy at first but the minute you start loving them they are love bugs.
