Story
Meet Remus REMUS is a silky brown tabby, young-adult male Manx who knows how to ask for attention. He is very affectionate and will meow and stare at you longingly until you pet him to his heart's content. He does well being picked up but be ready for his stocky body as he does love his snacks. He loves to nap in sunny spots and tall cat trees. Toys are not of much interest to him--all he wants is human attention. His perfect day would include several meals a day, lots of naps, and a lap to lay on while he gets pet by his forever human. If you need a couch buddy, Remus is your guy! He would prefer to be the king of the castle but would do also do well with his brother Sirius (who will be ready soon for adoption). He does very well with dogs and is not bothered by them one bit. ****REMUS MUST BE ON A SPECIAL DIET, AND THEY NEED AN ADOPTER THAT HAS MANX EXPERIENCE, IS VERY FAMILIAR WITH THE SPECIAL NEEDS OF MANX CATS, OR IS WILLING TO LEARN**** REMUS has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, is negative for FeLV and FIV, and includes a free wellness visit with our vet partners. The $70 adoption fee for this special needs kitty allows us to continue to provide care and find loving homes for abandoned and neglected cats in our Eugene/Springfield community. Story
Meet Smokey – The Adorable Bobtailed Window Watcher 🐾 Smokey is a handsome brown tabby with the cutest little bobtail and bright white mittens that make him extra charming. Just over a year old, this sweet boy has a gentle, sensitive nature and is looking for a patient home where he can feel safe and loved. Smokey can be a bit shy at first and prefers to approach people on his own terms. If you try to move too quickly toward him, he may scamper off—but the magic happens when you simply sit down and give him space. Before long, Smokey will wander over and curl right up in your lap for quiet snuggles. Once he feels safe, he’s an incredibly sweet and affectionate companion. One of Smokey’s favorite things to do is lounge by the window, soaking up the sunshine and watching the outside world go by. A cozy window perch would make his day! Smokey does well with other cats and is currently fostered with a female cat he gets along with nicely. However, he would prefer a dog-free home where he can relax and feel comfortable. If you’re looking for a gentle, sweet-natured cat to share your home with, Smokey is ready to find his person. Our transport includes drop off locations, in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). You will have the opportunity to track their journey in real time, see photo updates, learn fun facts, connect with fellow adopters and fosters through our private Facebook event page! Before the adoption is finalized, you will meet your pet through a video call, creating a fun and personalized experience! The adoption fee is $475 and includes all vetting: FVRCP vaccines (minimum of 2), FeLV vaccines (minimum of 2), Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, combo tested, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a health certificate deeming the kitty healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! We proudly have over 17,000 successful adoptions and excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai. We care deeply about creating lasting matches between dog and family for long term success and take the time to ensure each adoption is a fit through our matchmaking process. Three Little Pitties Rescue (3LP) wants to set you and your new family member up for success! In addition to a fully vetted furbaby you also receive other additional perks such as a code for a free bag of cat litter AND a code for 50% off a 2nd bag of litter from Catalyst Pet, coupons for a fun visit to Petco, and support through our Facebook Adopters group where you can connect with thousands of other adopters, 3LP volunteers, fosters and staff. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescues and will require continued efforts but are well on their way to being the best kitties that they can be! We ask that you give them time (can take weeks to months) to decompress in their new home, do slow introductions to other pets and let their true personalities have a chance to come through. The Greater Houston area faces one of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the U.S. We’re a nonprofit on a mission—to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dogs at risk, while promoting spay/neuter outreach in the community. When you adopt, you save more than one life— the one you adopted, and the space opened up to save another. Follow our journey and stay connected! 🌐 threelittlepittiesrescue.org 📘 facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue 📸 instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $87 surcharge for transport. Story
DOB 10/24 Lil Bob is a charming rabbit-like Manx with short whiskers and a stub of a tail. This sweet boy is litter box trained, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, and wormed. Lil Bob is very loving and cuddly with adults who let him come to them on his own terms. He adores chin scratches, pets, and will even lick you if given the chance. When happy and content, he makes adorable trilling noises and purrs loudly. When snuggling on you, he might gently touch your face with his paws. At night, he loves a cozy snuggle before heading off on his little nocturnal adventures. He is friendly with other cats but is scared of big dogs. His best friend is his sister Lisette, and they enjoy daily zoomies together, grooming, and lounging side by side. If you’re looking for a handsome, affectionate companion, Lil Bob is your guy!
