Story
Hi! meet Misfit. She is a loving, senior manx cat who needs to be rehomed because her current home is filled with too many cats and she is developing anxiety. She is fixed, vaccinated and spayed. She would probably work best in a home with no other cats because she can be competitive for attention. She is great with humans and kids. If you have any questions about her or would like to set up a meet feel free to reach out.

Story
Lil Nub is very loving & enjoys attention, just wanting to be in your presence. She has always been an inside cat, but has shown interest in exploring quiet backyards, as she will run at loud noises. She will roam the house with her toys, leaving them places like she is hunting for you.She gets along well with my blue heeler dog of 5 years and is not afraid to correct him. I have not seen her around children, but imagine she would do well with little ones who are older & calmer that understand when she needs space. Lil Nub is spayed, up to date on rabies vaccination, and not declawed. She has gotten a UTI in the past, so she eats a prescription urinary ST/OX food.As a manx cat, Lil Nub may experience minor manx syndrome. She will use the litter box as normal, but will sometimes have a little dampness on her fur from pee & occasionally leave small droppings on the floor. Vets have recommended regular grooming; wipes, baths & sanitary trims of her fur will help keep her clean.

Story
Curious, Sweet, Playful With Manx for the Memories, you're actually getting part kitty, part bunny! This adorable, friendly guy hops around like a bunny and even has a cute little bunny tail to match! Manx is super sweet and loves people. He’s not a needy boy, though – if you’re busy, he will happily entertain himself. Manx doesn't let his bunny-hop gait stop him from playing and running around! He loves playing fetch, chasing wand toys, and munching on catnip toys. He will make little noises when he's playing or wants attention as his way of telling you how excited or happy he is! He obsesses over your shoes and purse (he might just wanna know where you've been, or maybe his favorite movie is The Devil Wears Prada). He loves a cozy spot... any nook, box, bucket, or cave he can lay in is his jam, especially if there's a soft blanket on the bottom. He also loves his scratching tower and scratch pads, and he never scratches furniture! Manx is actually a Manx cat, a tail-free orange tabby boy who is extra cute and fuzzy. Along with being a Manx he was born with Manx Syndrome, which means his spine and spinal nerves didn't develop normally; he needs his human to press gently on his bladder three times a day to "express" it and help him go pee. It is super easy once you get the hang of it, and APA! will show you how! His foster just plops him onto a pee pad, puts a Churu treat next to it to distract him, and then she can easily express him in 15-30 seconds. She says this process takes less time than she spends on litterbox duty for her own cats! Since he's incontinent, Manx requires some extra medical care, which right now includes a special diet and some meds, and he’s good about all of that. Manx has lived with other cats and with dogs and is fine with them as long as they’re respectful and friendly to him. He’s really a people cat and loves people the best, including kids. The perfect forever home for Manx is one with people who can continue his routine, which is working great for him (and it's so easy), as well as give him lots of love and attention! He would happily live with other cat-friendly cats and most dogs, but he's really all about his people and just wants to be wherever you are. If you want to meet this little bunny-cat, contact us to set up a meet and greet! Caring for an incontinent cat is easier than you may think. Want proof? Check out this video: bit.ly/CatExpressionDemo All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team. Story
Affectionate, adorable, chill As if his name alone wasn’t cute enough, Benjamin has the most adorable little freckles on his nose! He’s a calm, cuddly, friendly little guy who loves to cuddle and get pets. He especially loves head scratches. Benjamin came to us with a large open wound on his back. We’ve been able to mostly close it surgically, and he needs daily bandage changes and medication to help it heal the rest of the way. He’s very sweet and cooperative with bandage changes, and he wears the cutest little onesies to protect the bandaged area. After an adjustment period, Benjamin decided he could get along just fine with his foster’s other cat. We haven’t seen him with dogs or kids. He’s probably pretty flexible about his forever home, but he definitely needs someone able and willing to give him the extra care he needs, and all the pets and cuddles his little heart desires! All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
