Luna is currently one of EHS's longest residents and would love to find her new family soon! To help, her adoption fee has been fully sponsored by generous donors!EHS volunteer comment: "Don't let her beastly-sized body intimidate you. She's a definite beauty: a great walker, loves her treats and knows sit, down and paw. And each walk I giggle when she rolls on her back to make her own snow "angel" (aka back scratch). I've walked her 3x times and enjoy petting and giving her cuddles at the end of each visit: she loves leaning on you or performing a sit in hopes that a treat will come her way!""When she's with you she's such a good dog to walk. Great on the leash, listens so well, responds to treats and is housebroken.""Winter is her element! She loves walking in half of a metre of snow, searching for scents. She'll listen and come to the sidewalk or even better, nicely walk in the deep, deep snow. A complete joy to walk and would love to find someone who is a snow fanatic like her, (or just a leisurely brisk walk.) In my 4 yrs of volunteering she is in my top 3 dogs for a well behaved walks, loves pets and does tricks. A real gem!"Luna is a big, lovable St. Bernard who started out shy but has truly blossomed into a confident, happy girl. She enjoys attention, gentle affection, and showing off her brighter personality as she gets comfortable. Luna's sweet nature and growing confidence make her a joy to be around.
