Story
Hello! My name is Rocco. I was rescued from behind a fast food stop about a year ago. I was in a bad way with medical issues from not being taken care of very well. My foster mom found me and couldn’t leave me behind once I showed her how sweet I was. She brought me home, where we learned I can be aggressive with medium/larger sized animals but seem to do alright with cats and smaller non-threatening dogs. She fostered me for ONE WHOLE year while I battled those medical issues which I am happy to report I have overcome! Unfortunately, my foster mom has 2 other big dogs that she loves as much as me. So as a family we are looking for a great ‘forever home’ fit for our “big ol’ sweetie”. He deserves a loving home where he’s the center of attention. Rocco is a darling dog, he doesn’t quite know his size (102 lbs), plays fetch/tug-of-war, drinks and eats like a medium sized dog, will catch mice who intrude on his space, great personality for an animal, and just WANTS to be LOVED. Thank you.
