This is breezy! I love this dog so much he’s so amazing and full of energy, unfortunately cannot keep him any longer because of housing issue and working to much. I just want to find someone that will be able to give him the time and attention he deserves. He is a great dog with a lot of goofball energy. I would prefer to find someone that is willing to foster him for an extended period of time until I am able to get him back. Unless that person/ family truly loves him to the point where they cannot get rid of him. Then sticking with that family would be easy decision for me to make because it’s very hard for me to even make this one I just want him to have a great life. And it breaks my heart to have to find him a new home. I’d very much prefer also if the person who chooses to foster/ adopt him is okay with keeping in contact and okay with visiting occasionally that would be greatly appreciated as this is not an easy thing for me to deal with. I will pay for all his food

Mr. Rogers wants nothing more than a warm, cozy home where he can finally relax and be someone’s loyal companion. He is a very sweet, easygoing guy who does best with calm, respectful dogs that aren’t all up in his face. His demeanor is laid-back and affectionate, making him a wonderful match for someone looking for a steady, loving presence rather than a high-energy pup. Cats are currently unknown, but his overall gentle nature suggests he could continue to blossom with the right introductions and patience. If you’re searching for a loyal, big-hearted best friend who’s ready to leave the shelter behind and settle into home life, Mr. Rogers is waiting to meet you. 🐾

Story
Luca is around 5-6 years old. He is crate trained and very smart! He will learn just about anything for a treat. His favorite activities are car and boat rides, going to the beach and zoomies in the rain. He is perfectly fine to be left alone if you have a job away from home, as he is very well house trained, but he will always be excited when you get back. Luca loves to be around his people no matter what they are doing but will sometimes go to his crate for some personal time. While he is the biggest sweetheart once he gets to know you, when on walks he is very protective of his family and it can be portrayed as aggression towards other people and other dogs. Luca will do best in an adult only home with no other animals and with someone who has experience with reactive dogs.
