He’s quiet in the home, rides great in the car, and has a calm, moderate energy level—he’d much rather relax with you than spend his day playing with toys. Honestly, Henry’s favorite thing is simple: being close to his person.Henry forms very strong bonds and is incredibly loyal, often becoming your little shadow around the house. Because of that deep attachment, he does struggle with separation anxiety. When left alone or separated, he can become very distressed and will try to escape or act out in his panic. He will do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, or with an adopter who is committed to helping him work through this with patience and consistency.He does best in a home with out cats, as he becomes very focused on them.If you’re looking for a calm, devoted companion who will stick by your side through it all, Henry is ready to give you his whole heart

He is house-trained, crate-trained, and has excellent house manners; he doesn’t chew things he shouldn’t and waits for an invitation before hopping on the furniture. The Ideal Home: Diesel is looking for a home where he is the only pet. While he is a quiet and respectful roommate, he has become grumpy with smaller animals in his old age and prefers not to share his space (or his rawhide bones!) with other dogs or cats. These should not be given to him at all anymore, as he becomes territorial. Personality: He takes direction very well and is generally a quiet companion who only barks when he needs to let you know something. If you are looking for a loyal, well-behaved companion to keep you company, Diesel would love to meet you!
